Bump. LOVE this thread. I'm just a hair over 5'11. Started at 225, currently just under 180. Similarly to a lot of the women on here I'd like to reach between 160 and 165. I am grateful for my height though because I have always carried my weight pretty well!

I'm not here to argue or try and defend statistics with all the angry anti-low carb people... but for the record I've been maintaining a low carb diet for the better part of a year and it has not been difficult for me, I've seen great results, and my doctor has given me the thumbs up to keep on doing what I've been doing.…

How long have you been doing low carb? Did you just start it up or is it a long term thing?

My biggest problem on the weekends is being 21 and missing my lovely alcohol. But I've gone 2 weekends without it- Just have to keep reminding myself this weight loss is worth it to miss out on a few months of drinking with friends.

I have big ol' tatas and have been hoping and praying with weight loss that they would shrink. 40 pounds later and I'm half a cup size smaller TOPS... I guess I'm stuck with my genetics.

Not sure how strict you are being with your diet, but beware that most gummy vitamins are loaded with sugar.

I experienced the exact same thing. I took before pictures from the front (meh) and the side (eh...) and the back (GOOD GOD THAT IS NOT GOOD!) Same boat as you- I LOVE carbs. Pasta especially, covered in any kind of sauce. But I too am doing low carb. I started at 225 and got down to 200 by just eating better (not low carb). I plateaued at that point, which is when I started low carb- and I lost an additional 15 pounds, it was great! But I missed my carbs so very…
