  • Okay I wobble even in little stilettos!!! I am so clumsy. But, they're cute, so I wear them anyway, even though I fall over sometimes :) ha ha ha oh the sacrifices we girls make for looks!!
  • Hahaha I turn on the Rocky IV soundtrack and go all out! It's pretty awesome music! :)
  • oooh so does fitnessmagazine.com :) It has workout videos and everything! I love it!
  • Popcorn!!! Eat 94% fat free popcorn (I like the Kettle Corn). It has almost no calories but it totally fills you up and carries you over til your next meal. It's been a life saver to me when dieting! It's marvelous :)

  • That sounds fantastic! Thanks! What kind of seasonings would you use? Like taco seasoning? (I am not an experienced cook haha)
  • I like a good diet Mt dew every once in a while too. My husband absolutely loves it! But a little while ago I noticed I started feeling really nauseous at night, every night for about two weeks... And I knew I wasn't pregnant! So it started worrying me, and then I realized how much Diet Mt Dew I had been drinking every…
  • I asked my nutrition professor about it. She said not to do it. It may or may not even work, but if it does, it's not healthy to lose that much weight that fast. Also, it's not helping you to maintain your body weight so if you do lose those pounds, once you stop using acai they'll all come back, maybe plus some. So, I…
  • This is what has kept me going and happy throughout my whole life  Thought I'd share! www.mormon.org
  • Just eat one :) it is good for you!
  • exercises can help, just not weight training exercises. Cardio workouts will slim, weights will tone and sometimes bulk. Go running, swimming, biking, or elliptical. Those will slim you down!
  • Makes sense. Thanks those are all helpful!
  • When I go to the gym, I like to do my cardio first, and then I do my weight training and toning. However, I heard somewhere that it's better for the body if you do the muscle stuff first, and then do cardio after. Is that true? Or is it just another one of those fitness myths?
  • If you are exercising every day I would actually suggest cutting back a bit. Waiting a day between workouts and allowing your body to rest will help weight loss because it doesn't get used to the workouts as much. Hard workouts every day can actually lower the metabolism because your body adjusts faster and gets used to…
  • elliptical. works wonders!
  • I think that a natural part of being a mom is being too self-critical. Your kids love you no matter what, and everybody gets in arguments with their parents one time or another. It's just part of life. Instead of feeling down about it, maybe just take this as motivation to fix it! Get your kids snowpants and let them play…
  • Tomato Soup!!! With saltine crackers
  • Welcome!!!! I did weight watchers too, over the summer! And I so agree that this site is way better! And it's free too! I've only been here for a little over a month, and I looove it! Hope you enjoy it, and welcome!
  • I don't think filling yourself up before is a good idea.... at least, I've tried it and it never works for me. Because the dilemma is still there that there's a lot of tasty food that you never get to have! My suggestion is eat SLOWLY. It will solve sooo much of the problem! Take small portions, and eat slowly so that you…
  • I just grocery shop and make food at my apartment to eat. It works
  • M&M's are my biggest weakness! They're just so good!
  • I totally understand how you feel. I think it comes with dieting or losing weight - it's just constantly on your mind! My family and friends have been really good and supportive about it. They always ask how my weight is doin and comment when they notice a difference. It helps a lot! But I still feel like I drive them…
  • Eating late at night right before bed can cause problems with acid reflex, or give you a stomach ache. The solution to those problems is to eat things that will settle your stomach... Like dairy. A glass of milk with whatever you eat before bed will settle your stomach and you will feel much better! But no, as long as…
  • honestly if it's your first day you can go over a bit today, and then start fresh tomorrow! That is way better for your body and even for weight loss than going hungry tonight. Good luck and welcome to the site!
  • Yup. totally normal!
  • My advice would be, change slowly. If you all of a sudden start eating a lot more, you probably will put on more weight. If MFP says you're eating way too little, you probably are. So, you should gradually eat a little bit more, allowing your body to adapt to the change. Keep working out and eating healthy, that is…
  • Dairy is a really good way to go when eating later in the day. It's settling to the stomach, and more filling and satisfying! Those are all way good ideas. I really think cereal or something you can have milk with would be the best choice!
  • I don't know if this is helpful, but I always love a little treat haha :) so if I have left over calories, I allow myself some ice cream or chocolate or something delicious! :) But if not, some good snack ideas are fruit, or crackers, or those 100 calorie packs you can buy. It's better to eat less more often than eat more,…
