That's awesome to hear!! What a great feeling!

I've done it twice-in a row. Didn't lose a pound although I did tone up. Be warned though if you are a runner-with all the jumping/plyo moves involved my knees were tender and I had a problem with longer distances. But I love the fact that the people in the videos looked as bad as I felt! Good luck and have fun!

Holla! I've run 6 half marathons, hoping to do another one in a month or so. Got the running thing down, need to do more weights so maybe you can motivate me! Feel free to friend request! And good luck and happy running!

I did it twice. Didn't lose a pound and the only thing I accomplished was sore knees from all the jumping around-which does not work well for me since I am an avid runner. HOWEVER, my girlfriend did it-she was not active AT ALL and lost 25 pounds on it. It was actually the first "real" workout she ever did. She just went…

I'm eating a bowl of steel cut oats for breakfast right now. Really hearty, keeps you full longer, make a big pot so you can have leftovers the next day quickly since they take a while to cook. I usually add a 1/2 a banana to mine or craisins...or any other random fruit i have laying around. Bobs Red Mill are good, or grab…

Yay!! So happy for you! Knew that was one of your goals and so glad you got there! Makes for a good Christmas! :)

Congrads on the sub 2 hour! I ran one a few weeks ago hoping to finally break 2 hrs...2:03 was my final time due to a cramp. But I'll get it next time! I run everyday and it seems like we have similar goals. Feel free to add me! Any running motivation/tips are welcome :)

Puppy chow. Crispix, chocolate, peanut butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Google the recipe-or its on the back of the cereal box. Super easy, makes a ton, and goes good in small bags/boxes. It's what I do every year! Happy treat making

Slooooow down woman! If you can't "comfortably" carry on a conversation while you run, you're going too fast. I have asthma, it's actually gotten better since I became a runner several years ago, BUT, it took me a long time. I still have no lung capacity and if I stop for a week or so, it's like starting all over again for…

Wear them...if you want back problems, hip problems, arch problems, etc...I live on the beach and I live in my flip flops but I also run a lot. And I pay the price when I wear flip flops a bunch! Message me your size info...and hopefully we wear the same and I'll send you some old pairs! Besides...if your profile is…

Girl I get up at 5 am everyday! It's hard, it takes a few weeks to get used to and the weekends can set you back when you want to sleep in but I love getting my workout out of the way. Try and go to bed earlier-say 8:30/9 and lights out by 9:30/10. I shoot for 8-9 hours a night. The downfall with getting up that early is…

Similar goals as well! I'm 5'6", currently at 138lbs (started at 142) and trying to get to 125-130. Add me, 'cause I need all the motivation I can get :)

It works! I was in a bad place 4 years ago and was in a downward drunken spiral, but since I quit drinking (quite as much) 4 years ago it has made a HUGE difference (about 18 lbs worth!) Plus I felt/feel so much better now so I sleep better and therefore am more energized to work out. And I'm with you on cringing at the…

Who ever is telling you this is ridiculous! It takes a while to work up to a mile, or 15-20, of course. Rule of thumb is, if you can't comfortably carry on a conversation during your run, you're going too fast. Strength and core work will also help you build speed after you get more mileage under your belt. I have asthma,…

Running keeps you regular! Seriously, but I feel your pain. Cut down on your fiber before a run (fruits, etc.) I found that dry toast or half a banana works for me. Or if you can get up early enough, coffee can help get you in the bathroom to take care of business and then out the door. And if all else fails, I carry wipes…

Oh my goodness you sound just like me! Except I did that yesterday :) I tried to make up for it today and am hoping I can watch what I'm doing better this next week. Just jump right back on the wagon. But glad for the post-glad to know I'm not the only one!

Once I stopped Insanity I could do my longer runs again. It just killed my knees, and I'd rather get a 12 miler in with no pain that be able to jump around for an hour. And yes-the running will become addictive! My husband is now (more) motivated than I am it seems when it comes to running, I've done many long runs and a…

I did Insanity twice, back to back. It's great for the plyometrics of it, but if you're a runner (like me) or have knee problems, then just make sure you have perfect form! That was the only problem I had-so much jumping around it took a toll on my runs. I personally need to lift more (actual) weight, but I enjoyed all of…

Your best bet is to go to a reputable running store and get fitted. They can even examine your stride, etc, as you run around the store. There are so many different shoes out there-they can figure out if you have a pronation/over-pronation problem, the exact cushioning, arch support...I could go on and on. Been running for…

Feel free to add me! I just joined today too, so maybe the extra support and new friends will keep me on track as well. Good luck!
