I understand how tough it can be. Just remember to breathe. Deep IN slow OUT. Panda DOES NOT use MSG. I am deathly allergic to MSG and I eat at Panda all the time. It is safe, and there are healthy foods served there, such as the veggies. Also if you do the Broc/Beef, it is fairly low in calories. I'll attach a link for…

It is an flat Indian bread often served with olive oil and garlic, most Mediterranean markets carry it as does Trader Joes and I think, Whole Foods.

Even without a Trader Joes or Whole Foods, as long as you choose a whole wheat option for the crust, you can use the same recipes...english muffins or bagels work as do tortilla's, pita bread, flat bread, naan bread...and health food stores tend to carry brown rice flour options for tortilla's and other bread products. May…

Do you have a Trader Joes or Whole Foods by you? If so, get the pre-made herb wheat dough. You can also use whole wheat Pita or Brown Rice Flour Tortilla's BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA Roll it out to a thin crust, add a couple spoonfuls of BBQ sauce, shredded chicken, chopped fresh basil or parsley, sliced red onions, chopped…

I am also an emotional eater. Stress especially sends me looking for comfort food...which isn't one damned healthy thing!! In fact, this past weekend, my cell was stolen (it had a LOT of personal info stored on it) AND I had my nephew's birthday party to go to. After almost 2 hours dealing with getting my sim canceled and…

I am 265 and trying to lose 90 pounds. I set my goal to be 1 1/2 pounds per week and my calories are at 1500ish/day. I am not sure why the numbers are so different unless you are set to lose more than 1 or 1 1/2 pounds/week. I'd take a look at your goals and maybe reset things. I also discovered that eating oatmeal is very…

Actually reports say that cold pressed dark chocolate is VERY good for you (in moderation, of course). It is full of antioxidants, and it does in fact trigger endorphins to put you in a good mood. So get your chocolate on!!

Cheeses are a big downfall of mine (Feta, Parmesan, Gruyere, Sharp Cheddar, etc) and butter. I will NOT give up butter. I may cut back on it, but there is no way in hell I will give it up or switch to margarine!! And bacon. As long as I am not around bacon I am ok, but if I catch a whiff...you know that Beggin Strips…

A few years ago, I was on an exercise kick...I worked out HARD at the gym 5 days out of the week, doing a combo of heavy cardio mixed with moderate weight training. I was eating really small meals thinking if I ate less and worked my *kitten* of in the gym I'd drop a ton of weight. Instead I gained 20 pounds!! I have been…

This is my creation, based loosely on a mudslide/beso mix...Enjoy!! Take a couple of Chai tea bags (black, green, or rooibos tea based--I like Trader Joes Organic Chai bags), let it soak in Malibu Rum for an hour or 2 to infuse the tea, and create a dark coloring of the Malibu (I use about a half bottle of Malibu to soak…

Got a few friend requests, and it is so nice having people who are willing to help me up when I fall and celebrate my victories (and trust me, I'm all about that so you guys will also be hearing a lot from me). Here's today's dilemma...It's my nephew's birthday party/BBQ. My brother-in-law is an award winning BBQ'ing…

So at 1850 calories per day, and weighing over 200 pounds currently...if I am understanding this correctly, I can eat a whole lot of protein...???

I have a feeling I'll be checking in here quite a bit, so feel free to check out my profile, blog, and whatever else...and feel free to send me a friend request...success is…
