  • i agree with whoever said "too much" is different for everyone. so give it a shot. if it's too much your body will tell you. part of being healthy is knowing what your body is telling you. so if your body says stop, stop. there's a difference between pushing yourself a little farther, and pushing yourself too far.

  • if you don't drink anything else during the day, it's a lot easier to reach those eight cups a day. i can't drink water though. i just can't, it gags me there are only two ways to get me to drink water, either i'm really thirsty, or during a workout. but through out the day, i have to mix it with a pack of propel.

  • when you don't eat enough calories your body burns what it already has stored. when you starve yourself you body stops burning fat and starts eating away at your muscles. it's simple math, if you want to gain weight, you have to take in more than you burn, and build muscle.

  • i perfer dial scales over digital. also make sure your scale is on a hard surface. to test a scales accurecy, weigh something that you know the weight of, like a 10lbs bag of flour, a slight difference is fine, but if your scale says that 10lbs bag is 15lbs, obviously it has an issue.
