I am doing this program in combination with Insanity, and P90X. I have als.o lost an inch off my hips, and about 1/2 inch off each thigh. Be careful going up in weights, I actually started gaining inches and went back to no weights. Now I intensify the moves by really focusing on the muscle being worked and squeeze. It has…

Yep, even my sweet hubby is giving it a shot!!! Thanks for all the support!!! I think I'm ready for a video or Dvd. What are some of your favorites?

I went to Walmart and bought my daughter a hoop for Valentines Day! We've had lots of fun playing around on it and figuring it out. Even my10 year old son wanted to give it a shot:)

Pyle sport from Amazon, it works okay. I paid $25 FOR IT which is very reasonable. It has its quirks but works for what I want (heart rate and calories burned) Ive had it for a week:) Hope this helps! Plus its pink and black (my fav!)

I finally bought a heart rate monitor for calculating calories burned, I love it and feel pretty comfortable with its calculations.

Yes, I try to avoid the processed foods and go more natural. Still looking at calories on MFP, but just getting started. I only have about 5lbs to lose. I love the summary at the end of the day I can see where I'm lacking and try balance it more. Of course somedays are better than others. I find when I eat the processed…

Hello, I am turning 40 in March!!! I'm very excited about that and want to celebrate by being in the best shape ever. I also have fibromyalgia and deal with chronic pain and fatigue. I am now off all medicines for it and going all natural. DIET AND EXERCISE play a huge role in how I feel day to day. I try to avoid most…

I don't have TRX, but I have a yoga swing that can do a lot of the same things. Not doing much with it now, except stretching. I am currently doing a hybrid of P90X, Insanity, and Brazilian Butt Lift.

I have the "Eat Smart Scale" and I believe it cost $50 from Amazon (not positive). It measures %fat, %water, % muscle, and bone mass. It comes with a warning not to use if you have an IUD, thought id mention that.

Needed to update my previous post, my scale at work says I'm 19% fat. It is pretty extensive and measures % fat, water, % muscle and bone mass. I think it is called Eat Smart scale and was around $50.00 from amazon (not positive). The on line calculator said 30.3% fat:(

A tip for those wanting to quit coffee. First of all, don't go cold turkey or you might end up with a splitting headache. I recommend going half calf, half decaff and slowly decreasing the caffinated and increasing the decaff. I was a Frenchi vanilla, hazelnut and sugar junkie too, I found if I put a yummy piece of gum in…

It will be interesting to track them both ways and see the changes over time.

I measured 30.3% from this site, my scale says 24%. That is a huge difference, I think the difference is my hips and thighs are my trouble areas and my frame is tiny (wrist measures 5 inches) my weight is 123lbs and ht is 5 ft 4.5 inches. I am wondering which one is accurate.

Hello, I am on line looking to buy a hoop. What do you suggest. I am new to hooping but in fairly good shape. Also how much should I expect to pay?
-
Wow, I just did the on line tool and it measures me 6% higher fat than a professional grade scale:( My hips and thighs are my trouble areas, and that is what is measured. Also I have a very tiny body frame, my wrist measures 5 inches. That said my results are: 30.3% fat:( weight is 123lbs and I'm 5 ft 4.5 inches

Count me in! I measure mine with a scale that measures %fat, %muscle, %water, and bone!
