These are all great suggestions!!!!! I forgot all about string cheese, going to put it on my grocery list.

Haha! These all sound good to me- no worries :)

This is a great post!! I agree.

I love yoga pants! If you worried about not seeming 'modest' enough just pair them with a looser top. I think they only look scandalous when they are super tight and paired with a mid-drift halter or something, haha!

That's a small difference of less than 30 calories. I would aim for around there.. calorie counting is not an 'exact' science.

\ I was going to say this also! Running with a 0.5-1.0% incline makes the treadmill more similar to running outdoors. You will do great! I am running a 5k on Thanksgiving morning too :) After you can load up on lot's of yummy food :)

Our goal weights are about the same!! I added you :)

This is great!

Try spaghetti squash! We made this last night and I ate 1.5 cups of "pasta", .5 cup sauce and 5 turkey meatballs for around 250 calories. So good! Cut the squash in half and bake @ 375 for 45min or so until you can pierce the skin easily with a fork. Then just scoop out the "pasta".

I have the nutribullet which is made by the same people I believe and it's amazing! No chunks at all (that would make me gag too!!)
-
WOW! You look amazing :)

I have just about 20lbs to lose- feel free to add me if your goals are similar!

Eat potassium rich food earlier in the day. I think spinach, bananas etc. Potassium can help balance out sodium I believe..
-
LOL this.. I read your whole post and this was also what I was thinking

This is basically what I'm doing this month. I'm doing 30ds in the AM but I signed up to run a 5k on Thanksgiving so I'm still running about 4x per week. So far so good but just listen to your body if you really NEED a rest day you'll know it :)

This happens to me too! My clothes are falling off but I've only lost 6lbs. After heavy leg days I 'gain' at least 3lbs back lol.
-
Yes and no. I use some of those extra calories for my pre/post workout fuel. So if I burn 200 calories running I'll "eat back" 120 of them with a protein shake (which I wouldn't drink on a rest day). Just find what works for you and stick to it.

I read somewhere that instead of hitting specific goals for potassium/sodium it's important to try and keep them ~equal (with more potassium if possible). It has something to do with biology .. they 'cancel' each other out so to speak .. don't quote me on this it's been a few years since hs bio :)

This made me laugh! I totally relate :)
