Be aware of your habit, don't ignore it. Think consciously about whether you need it. Also, if you feel like binging, look up rotting pictures of the food that you want to eat, then go find something else to do. Like coloring. Or reading.

I've never noticed Celexa (citalopram) or its close relative Lexapro (escitalopram) affect my metabolism at all. I took Celexa for about 6 months before being moved to Lexapro during this last year. Thank you everybody who replied. There are a lot of good tips. Yeah, I get *really* sad and feel deprived. I've been noticing that I still eat about 200 calories more than my goal and it bums me out because I've cut out so much food already. I bought some of the Citrucel stuff so hoping that'll help my hungry stomach.

My willpower is about as strong as jello. On the bright side, sugar-free jello is about 5 to 10 calories and you can eat A LOT without guilt.
