Look at it as just a temporary setback. The advice above is right -- give yourself the time to recuperate. Don't go overboard, but definitely don't be anxious about diet/exercise. What's the sugar content on that peanut butter? I buy the Smart Balance peanut butter because it only has 1 g of sugar, but it's higher in calories and fat than the one you mentioned. I'm diabetic, so I have to watch my sugar intake.

Add to the sweeties list: Vitamuffin - Vitatops (I've only tried the Deep Chocolate, but they have other varieties -- I found them at Costco, but Publix also carries them) - only 100 calories, 1.5 g fat, made with whole grain flour, organic, healthy & delicious! Healthy Choice Premium Fudge Bars :)

Yes, swimming is a great idea. Jillian Michaels also recommends punches for people with lower body injuries. Just squat as much as possible to have some tension in the legs, and keep abs tight. That may be kind of boring to do for an extended period of time, but maybe you can add it to swimming. Hope you heal quickly!

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage :) I just started on this site, too. I have 25 pounds to lose, and I'd like to do it by my 40th birthday on June 25th, so our goals are pretty similar. I'll add you as a friend for support. We can do this!
