How old were you when you got engaged? 32 How long had you been together before getting engaged? 12 How old were you when you got married? 32 (we got married within weeks of engagement as I was being deployed to Iraq) Are you still together (if so, for how long)? Yes, just hit 3 years

Also do you have a exercise buddy.....that might help. I take the dog everyday for an hour long (minimum) walk. He keeps me going. He needs the walk and if I don't do it no one will. I take music on my phone and use endomondo to track my calories, distance, lap times, and GPS our walk path. I change the route daily so we…

I did my own study on my body - I am sure all of us are a bit different however this is what I found..... originally when I started back up I could exercise and not eat back the calories because my body was so shocked by the changes of exercise and less calories but after time I began to gain back the weight well my body…

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. First I found I had to eat more of the exercise calories or I was starving my body, also talked to some others and they say there will be some ups and downs in the weight loss department. I increased the length of my workout a bit more and worked on cramming more into the workout. It…

I left because logging became a pain and I was seeing results so thought I could do it on my own but then came to realize that I couldn't. MFP and logging will probably have to be lifelong for me. It keeps me conscious of what I am choosing to eat, the portions, and calories I take in. It also keeps me aware of my exercise.

I made roast beef from rump roast (medium rare), pears, and kraft mac and cheese.

I don't have a cheat day every week any longer but yep I build them in. If you deprive yourself totally then you'll not be motivated to keep at it. Also I don't think of this as a diet but a lifestyle change that I will always be doing but will be modified as life changes, with this thought I don't plan on never having a…

I tell them about my goals and how I am using MFP. I've got a few to join here and now we support each other through the tough times.

Sam on weekends I also struggle with this but a couple things I do - I try to plan out the weekend meals ahead of time. I also do more exercise to make up for some of the extra calories. I also set goals for the weekends or overall like if I want to eat at X place I need to weight X amount first. This helps keep me away…

Hang in there. It has happened to the best of us. One thing I found is that is a bit of a mind game. Sometimes it is really hard to keep going and that is when you have to lean on those around you. My hubby keeps me going by encouraging me to keep at it. Make sure you don't deprive yourself and also change up your exercise…

I think a lot of the stuff you see is edited to make you see a certain thing because it makes people want to watch not because it is the real or full picture. Also after the 1st season anyone who signed up knew what they were getting into - and for some people may be exactly why they choose it - many of them had tried all…

Congrats and not to be a downer but I don't think that is healthy.

I'm in the military and 1 year all I did to get ready for a PT test was walk - now mind you my walks aren't always up the block and back - I varied the terrain, the type, etc and I did really well on the test with just a few practice run within a few weeks of the test. Also one of the alternate events for the military…

Those things can be good but they can also be glitchy if set too sensitive. What do you do for work? What kind of activity level do you have? How does MFP compare int he amount of calories they say you burn in a day?
-
I do a morning walk as soon as I get to work and then the hubby and I take the dog for a walk in the evening. If its crappy out I exercise while watching TV in the house.

How big is big of a deficit? Remember as long as you hit the required calories for the day the less you eat and the more you burn the more you lose. When I talked to my nutritionist she advised no more then approx 100 of my exercise calories be consumed.
-
What about working out (walk/jog) near your work?

Chicken or fish tacos? spaghetti brats and burgers Homemade chicken cashew salad

My nutritionist agrees with you that you should not eat them all. She suggested I eat about 100 of them only because otherwise I was cancelling the benefit.
