Why would you want to drop to 1000 calories a day? Ask yourself, do you plan on eating this way for the rest of your life? It is not sustainable nor enjoyable. Unfortunately people see this a temporary fix, when it is really a lifestyle change.

I'm wondering the same thing. I've been at 1200 calories for 5 months now. I've pretty much got to my goal weight but i have recently considered eating around 1400-1450. I exercise 5 days a week. I have been feeling guilty all day. Usually Fridays and Sundays are my days off. On saturdays I jog 4 miles but was not able to work in my schedule. So i've not exercised since thursday and its really getting to me. But i have really been careful with what i've ate all weekend. I will hit the gym extra hard tomorrow :)

I totally agree that you have to start slowly !! I was in the same boat as you. I started at a very slow jog (probably a fast walk for some) then I slowly and gradually worked myself up. The polar ft4 is great!!. i had a cheap hrm to start out with and when i bought the polar it gave me a whole new outlook on my exercising and calories burned. well worth the money. I saw them on amazon for around $50

i've been at 1200 cal since mid october. I exercise about 6 days a week and try to eat healthy, but if i want something sweet, i eat it. I've lost 14 lbs so far!! good luck

People started noticing when I lost around 10 lbs. Thats also about when my clothes started getting too big

Without a doubt, Polar FT4. I bought mine off ebay for 79.00 and my husbands off Amazon.com for 50.00 ! plus free shipping. Its the best. Do not waste your money on those at walmart. They are not accurate at all. I know this since that is what i started out with :)

mine is, when someone asks me "what have you been doing to lose weight?". I say, I've cut back a little on my eating and I exercize. They look at me like i'm crazy and say "I get so tired of hearing that". Well, ITS TRUE!!! Weight loss is all about math. Calories in - Calories out. Simple as that!!!

I love the 30 day shred. My favorite is Level 2. I started october 16th with the dvd and i also jog on the treadmill some since its only around 25 minutes long. I have lost 11 lbs since then. I dont have much weight to loose (Around 17 lbs total is my goal), thats why its took 2 months to see my results. It WORKS!!!!

182 lbs was my heaviest when i graduated high school. Now 8 years later I'm currently 141..I wanted to be one who didnt gain weight out of high school and I am working to get in a bikini this summer for the first time in my life :wink:

Yes I can say it does work. Since Oct 16th i've logged in absolutely everything I eat and every calorie I burned. I also exercise about 6 days a week. I've lost 10 pounds in 8 weeks. Thats pretty good for me since i dont have alot of weight to loose (about 17 - 20 lbs is my goal)
