Yes, and I'm still running ever since doing it.

No offense taken. I post the shorter link because I also posted this on Twitter and you're limited to amount of characters on it.

No, you need breakfast to get you through the day!
-
It's a natural sugar so don't dwell on it like a processed sugar.

Congrats! Looking great!!

Let me clarify from my earlier statement. If you've already ran a 5K and have been running for awhile then run as often as you like. Marathon runners run more than 3x a week at a lot farther distances. BUT, if you're just learning to run a 5K then I agree w/the trainers and C25K, only run 3 days a week w/off days in…

Yes, It is OK to do BUT It's still good to throw in a recovery day-off every week to help your muscles recover. This also helps w/increase your speed. It's also good to take a recovery day before a race day.

If you shop at Aldi's try their, Fit & Active - Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Meal Bar. Great chocolate and peanut butter taste!

Yoga helps w/your balance.

How much water are you drinking? You might be dehydrated.

A bar 15yrs. ago.

Look into the C25K program a.k.a. Couch to 5K

You'll probably hate this but, get up an hour earlier. You'd be surprised how much exercise you can get done in that time. Plus, getting you're exercise done first thing makes it so you don't have to worry about getting time to do it later. Also, it doesn't make you tired for the rest of the day, as you might think, it…

Welcome to MFP! Congrats on your engagement. If you're looking to get into jogging you may want to look into C25K or 'Couch to 5K' program. Good luck to you!
-
You're welcome to add me.

Have you tried just doing measurements instead of the scale?
-
One of my fastest times was during a 5K w/o ipods. I paid more attention to the pace of the pack. But, that's the only time I've ever ran w/o mine.

How's your water intake? Are you drinking enough? You may want to increase your protein.
-
I'd call that success.
-
I found it to be fairly accurate. It's not perfect but close enough.

6AM w/ morning snack @ 10AM

Those that say that are just crying out for help. If they really were giving up they wouldn't long on just to say that they weren't ever going to log on a site again.

I didn't, but I wish I had now. I was one who avoided getting my picture taken and now I regret not get more 'big' pics.

I like Diet Dr. Pepper or Diet Root Beer w/ a shot of vanilla vodka.

Both- Either way you mix it up. Combine both in your workouts you don't have to stay at one speed or incline the whole time. By increasing your incline you do strengthen your legs which can make you stronger and faster. But, by practicing you 'kick' at a faster pace and low incline also helps w/speed.

Welcome to MFP, Trish! It's a great site to get you 'back on the wagon'. Good Luck!!

Dress like its 20° warmer. Once you get to running you don't want to overheat with too much on.

Yes! the majority of the weight I lost was due to just walking. Just do it!

I love to listen to comedy shows on my ipod, that takes my mind off the 'dreadmill'. Also, switch up you speeds on the 'mill',i.e. start off at a sprint, then slow down to a slow pace, back up to your adv. speed and repeat. Switch it up about every .2 miles. It keeps you more occupied.
