I agree with this. Just don't force yourself. You don't want bust anything. ;-P

I've been listening to comedy pod cast i.e. Adam Carolla Show, Doug Benson, Skalar Brothers. It helps take my mind off the running.

I started off just parking as far away as I could, about a half mile, that gave me a mile walk every day at work no matter what. Don't make weather an excuse to stop. We all have snow and rain gear. Might as well use it.

Ease back then. Go to 1500 cal. a day if you're struggling and work your way into 1200 a day. You can always adjust. This isn't a dash it's a marathon.

I'm at a 6.7 pace but my wife's at a 5.0 pace. If you're doing it for the exercise and using an HRM don't worry about it. I know I'll never win a race I just like the feeling I get after running (I still hate the process of running but love the end). Do it for you and no one else. Just keep on jogging at your pace.

Yes, but I don't crave it like I use to. It's more like I can't believe someone would do that. Just because I like to watch *kitten* doesn't mean I want to do it.

I do but only on Weekends.

I have Wii Fit Plus and that was the start of what got me back into shape. I don't have ACTIVE but I hear it is good too. So either way I don't think you can go wrong.

Tennis is excellent cardio. It burns plenty of cals.

That should be part of your initial setup. Sounds like you're lightly active.

Welcome to MFP, Kirsty! It's a great place to keep on track and stop yo-yoing. Good luck!

Try to get a 20-30min. walk in. That will earn you some calories back.
