Being sluggish and feeling bloated might actually be symptoms of the diet you are currently on. Being sluggish and not getting enough energy certainly go hand in glove, and feeling bloated and drinking lots of water all the time may as well.

I don't think the intent of the 'if every day were like today' reminder is predictive. I think it is helpful, though, in that it reminds us that our long term is only the culmination of a series of short terms.

Logging is empowering. With logging, there are no worries; you know you will lose weight if you just keep your calories down, no matter what the scale says on a day to day (or even week to week) basis.
