  • My father in-laws scale up home said I lost 2 lbs but I'm going to jump on mine down here tomorrow morning since his is super old. I stress-ate majorly up there, but didn't get down about it b/c it was either that or go nutsy over all the chaos of trying to help plan a funeral for an infant =( sad. Cay, I retain water from…
  • Does anyone measure? Sometimes that is more rewarding than weight loss, because sometimes you may not lose or even gain one week, but you'll still have lost some body :) I've lost about a half inch on my bicepts, half inch on my neck, not really too much off my waist yet but it's still encouraging!
  • HAPPY MONDAY! This past week I actually got 2 gym workouts in, and they payed off! We also did a bit of swimming, my legs and arms got a really good workout there! stephlewis SW_____210 CW__________204.4 GW_________198

  • So far this week has gone by fast & not at all how I planned. I haven't done my DDR, haven't been to the gym. I'm still sick which is really frusturating, I'm never sick for this long. Today however I did 100 Jumping jacks & 100 squats all together =) I think I'll break out my DDR tonight, hubby likes to do it with me or…
  • hey Cay every little bit helps =)
  • This week I want to use my DDR, I've had it & used it, had fun & got a good workout. But it's been sitting in the box for months now, time to break it out again! I also want to go to the gym at least 3 times this week.
  • *bump*
  • *bumpity bump* wonderful idea! thank you so much! I have a major sweet tooth & I'm always keeping an eye out for easy healthy desserts!
  • OOOh the massage sounds divine =) Personally I like the idea of celebrating in some way when a goal is reached, no matter how small that goal may be. It's a big motivator for me. I don't believe in rewarding with sweets, but things that help me keep motivated. I'm planning little things like a new workout DVD, a cute…

  • kdsmith I really really wouldn't stress yourself out too much over your dining out. It's only when it becomes an everyday thing is when we gotta worry... other than that we DO have to LIVE a life haha, we gotta enjoy ourselves as well!
  • Great job on the weight loss caymarks! =) That's very encouraging! Kim--, WOW! Great job! I'm a treat person too! Though I've got the perfect helper to stop me from eating treats, as I'm still battling a stomach virus. Ugh. Today was the best day so far this week energy wise, and I've gotten a small bit of appetite back…
  • Thank you for the well wishes. I'm doing much better today than I have all week, I'm actually able to eat some food! Today I plan to do a bit of exercise finally, just light cardio & some core work.
  • I have a stomach virus, I'm waiting until tomorrow until all this crap **pun actually intended** passes to re-weigh & re-evaluate my GW. GOALS FOR THIS WEEK:: 1. drink more water 2. continue to get to the gym at least once per week 3. remember to STRETCH!
  • I'll re-post to make it easier. CW: 208 GW: 196
  • sure!! I'm new & never done a challenge either!!! =) good motivation! shall we post our starting weights? I'm currently 208lbs. that means i need to be 196 in 6 weeks!
  • I only count it when it is more than my usualy daily 'house stuff'... like when i have to get down on my hands & knees to scrub the kitchen floor, I do this about once a week. We have that stupid linoleum that ALWAYS looks like it's dirty so I give it a good detail cleaning each week. Or if one day I breeze through 3-4…
  • MSBANANA - that sounds so wonderful! Amazing how I forgot to think back to my roots, my momma & grandma used to make this kind of dish as well, thank you for the reminder!
  • No, no. The oil is pretty necessary, helps bring out the good flavors and keeps things moist. Ya don't want the veges to stick to the pan! Haha. But only like a tablespoon is needed! Use olive oil & it's good for your heart! Olive oil is one of the "good fats" =)
