Hello, Cool Kids! Alf - Sorry for your loss. You did a great job on the challenge! Nice2BFit - Great job on being only 7 pounds away. Sometimes those are the hardest, but you seem to have a plan. On the lower abs, you may want to check your sugar intake and also add HIIT to your workouts 2 to 3 days a week. Kjgarcia -…

OK, I lost a total of close to 9 inches!!! Woohoo!:drinker: I appreciate everyone for participating.

You GO GIRL! Your abs look great! You did not let that sprain hinder your results! :flowerforyou: It was wonderful to have you during the challenge. I'll need to post my measurements later because I just took them this morning, and left them at home.
-
I have enjoyed you and your liveliness during the challenge. Kudos on your successful weight-loss! :drinker: Also, I'm sorry for your loss of a close friend.
-
Yes!:drinker: Let's share our results here on this thread!!!! I can't wait to see all of the progress! It has been very motivating. I am working on the Step Challenge, but I need to get a pedometer. Right now I am just logging my jogging miles for my C25K workouts.

I am on W5 Day 3, which calls for me to jog 20 minutes straight! I am dreading it because the previous day only required 8 minutes straight!:grumble: I feel that it is a mind game, as marshy129 said, it gets better! I am training for the Diva's Run in Myrtle Beach, SC at the end of April, so I would like all of the…

Hi Cool Kids!!! I am finishing up a challenge with my fitness pal Alf on Monday, and I am looking for an active group to join and stay motivated. What a perfect one!!! I will be celebrating my 45th birthday in April, and also running my 1st 5K!:drinker: I am looking forward to interacting with you all!:flowerforyou:

Thanks for sharing about your knees. My husband's suggestion was to run every day to "get ready quicker." I will not take that advice.
-
Chelsea, I feel the same way about having somewhere to check in! The accountability is what really helps me. Ahhh, you just gave me an idea. Let's search for some interesting challenge groups ongoing or starting up in April and be read to share them next week, on our last week's threads. Annette, I know that you will be…

That's a good question. I was about to post something similar, but then I saw your post. I completed Wk 4 Day 2 last week, and didn't get my Day 3 in. Now, I am wondering if I should move on to Wk 5 or repeat Wk 4. Thanks for any advice!

 Hope you have a speedy recovery!!!

Very nice!!

Chelsea, I saw the 30-Day Shred videos on YouTube, and they look pretty good!!! Here's an LOL: I am probably gaining about two pounds as I type this because I am up late (after 1:00 a.m.) and stressed!!!!:grumble: Oh well, plenty of Earl Grey tea for me tomorrow!!!
-
Roni, that's encouraging about you zig-zagging. You have gotten great results over time, and I think I will try it and see how it goes!!! Annette, I also think that changing up workouts every month is a good thing. Most of my programs go for 60 to 90 days, but I find myself wanting to change up after a month. When I make…

Hi Chelsea, I had never heard of TRX until you posted about it, but it sounds interesting. And, with losing all those pounds, I will be looking into seeing if it is offered near me. I sometimes venture out and get a summer gym membership. Thanks for the share!
-
Annette, me too! Working out my arms today, so I'll post later!
-
Wow, Megan! That's great to get to the gym 3x! Way to go! Check out this youtube link for beginner's yoga: http://youtu.be/HzwdKBYG0xA She has a full-body to do after you get used to the moves. I like it because it's only about 8 minutes. I am very stiff, and I hope that this will help me become more flexible.
-
Thanks Chelsea and Annette!!!
-
Best of luck to you, I know you can do it if you try! I decided to hold off until later because I have four events back to back that may call for a cheat meal. So, I am strategically planning my Whole 30, but definitely going to do it. Probably after my 5K in April, because you get snacks and champagne at the finish line!…

Megan, I have to modify my side planks also!!! That's o.k., because the more we do it the sooner we will be up on our feet! Chelsea, you have had a doozie of a few weeks. I hope you are back stronger and longer soon.:drinker: Annette, hop in anywhere! I know this is only "gravy" for you, with all that Zumba and…

Thanks, ALL!

Hoping that my calf muscles improve with the addition of my C25K training!

I am so happy that your are o.k. Megan, and I am so proud of you for forging on and sharing your experience. You are a reminder of how not to let life knock you down and keep you down. :flowerforyou:

Great goals!!! :flowerforyou: Day three for me with the ABS challenge. I get so out of breath when I do it, it's amazing!!! Like walking up several flights of stairs. I may be trying to go to quickly. :grumble:
-
I agree that you have to jump back in the saddle, but please take it slowly!!! :flowerforyou:

I'm sorry about your knee pain. Standing tall at 5'10" I do get to eat a bit more. Are you able to walk any at this time? If not, you will do best by eating as clean as possible (more food/less dense calories) until you are able to resume exercise. Feel better soon.:flowerforyou:
