WOW! You had a fabulous day of activity!!! My struggle is making the time to get in consistent workouts. Then, there's SUGAR!!!! :grumble: My weakness. I know I must be allergic to it, because when I do without, I manage to lose weight just fine!
-
Great job for getting started! I completed W2 D1 yesterday, and the biggest take-a-way that I have is the difference between running on the treadmill and terrain. The treadmill is a lot easier. I am not a huge outdoors person, but I will be training at least once a week on "mother earth!"

Woohoo!!!! Ten less pounds is 40 fewer pounds of pressure on the joints!!! I am so happy for you, and for me too!!!! Heck, everyone is making strides and seeing success!!!!! I didn't keep the last ab challenge going, but I am going for 30 days on this one!!!! Congrats!:drinker: Go for it!!!:flowerforyou:
-
You are doing fabulous, Roni!:drinker: I thought that your daily caloric intake may be too low for your physical activity level. How do you determine your calories?
-
Great! I'll add you to the group and send you a friend request!!! Welcome aboard! We are having an ABS challenge for the next 30 days. It is 4 moves in about 2 or 3 minutes, easy to add on to any workout. Think you might be game? Check out the group thread for the video and pictures.

I like the sound of that, but I may need a visual.

Great job!!!

I just completed Week 1. I would love to have supporters, so friend me if you like! I use the app by Active and I think it's great! I like to run and walk to music, so I recommend getting a good playlist of songs together with your appropriate BPM. This prevents me from running too quickly and getting worn out before the…

Yes, I can see your quads!! Nice flex!!!!

Like!

Yes, I could really use the boost of energy and mental clarity. I may wait until this challenge ends. I think 90 days is a bit much for everyone to stay motivated. However, I like longer challenges because it gives me time to see results over time, and I am less likely to do some crazy "starvation" thing that only ends up…

I wonder if I can hang on to such a strict regimen for 30 days. I feel that it would benefit me immensely, but I don't want to set myself up for failure or binge eating. I like that they include a plan for reintroducing the "avoided" foods again. I have only read positive reviews, so I am trying to pump myself up! I know…

Nice bicep, Chelsea! Thanks for the encouragement!

OK, here's my first flex! I plan to post one every week, for the remainder of the challenge. It is so funny to look at my picture, because in my mind, I feel there is a huge muscle there! LOL It MUST be under there somewhere! I won't stop until it's visible
-
Fabulous, Annette! I didn't get my Friday workout in, but I am about to work out right now, and will be back with my Friday Flex! Better late than never, right? :drinker:
-
Yes, Annette. It is AMAZING how much hidden sodium is in restaurant foods.:explode: :explode: :explode:

I think everyone eats a little better before Valentine's Day to enjoy a guilt-free day. Glad you had a great week, and I am still hoping to be in an area to try Bikram one day! They hubby and I skip V-D and save the celebration for our anniversary, four days later. So, that will be my guilt=free day! Enjoy your day, and…

Fun night ahead of you, Roni! We don't normally celebrate Valentine's Day because our wedding anniversary is four days away! So, I'm saving my sweets for the anniversary dinner.
-
Sounds like a great night ahead of you! That dinner sounds yummy! My valentine:heart: is out of town on business, and I stayed home with our daughter. But, a glass of wine sounds so appropriate for tonight.:drinker:

How the weather breaks soon! But, at least you can get a healthy takeout. Great choice.
-
It was HORRIBLE!!!! The first day, it took me nearly 3 hours to get it down. The next two days, I took the advice of a blogger and puree'd the celery and added more pineapple. With those modifications, it took about an hour. The other two were great!
-
Roni, I know that half of this may creep back because I did the Dr. Oz 3 Day Detox Cleanse. I was surprised that I felt so good during this cleanse.
-
Great way to start the day, Roni. Brenda Leigh Turner has suggested using Melatonin or tryptophan for night when you can't fall asleep. Have either of these been recommended by your doctor?
-
Wanda, I wish you a speedy recovery. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, " remember that this is a journey not a race and I must continue."
-
Chelsea, I can't chime in on the bloodwork, but that is an interesting question that I hope Roni may be able to offer some advice. On another note, that cilantro lime chicken faijita sounds yummy! Care to share the recipe?
-
Well, everyone, I'm wrapping up my weekend with the Dr. Oz 3-Day Cleanse. I got the idea from my sister, who just bought a new Vitamix blender! Although I don't have one, I decided to give it a go. I'm glad that I decided to browse the net for blogs where others had already gone before. These reviews gave me an idea of…

I forgot to say that I would like to forget that I didn't resist going out to lunch with co-workers on Tuesday and eating 3 breadsticks from Olive Garden!!!:explode: WTH was I thinking? :noway:
-
Chelsea, glad you're feeling better to get back into focus next week. LOL on the step class!!!!!

The good thing is that you recognize that as "INSANE" and "TEMPORARY!" This way you know to get back to normal! Remember not to beat yourself up because we all have "those times!"
