You've obviously worked hard and persevered! That is so amazing. You look great :)

3 lbs in 3 weeks is great results. Biggest loser type numbers are unrealistic in the real world. More importantly, if you're looking at what you're doing as an effort in self denial rather than sustainable life changes, I fear for your long term success. Seek dietary and exercise changes that you'll be able to live with if…

This was a great read! Thanks to everyone involved!

Epic transformation. You look wonderful. I remember leaving obesity and being so happy to be just "over weight" as well. I've since moved on to "fit" and am even happier. Congratulations and best of luck in your continued endeavors :)

My first character and always main in Warcraft was a Druid. I was really good at it. Like a super Druid. I've been superdrood everywhere else since.

Sounds like you've got the right attitudes and are making the right changes. Fitness is a life style not a destination. Just keep it up but don't beat yourself up if you have an off day. Get right back in your groove and pretty soon your new habits become old habits. Oh, and take before pictures right now if you…

You can if you use the app. See my post above.

Can't edit amounts on the website, true. You can with the App though. I do it all the time. Go to: more>edit food and exercises

Your counter points are so full of fallacious reasoning, I hardly know where to begin. So I'm not going to. I personally agree with the poster you were responding to. Weight loss is certainly easier cutting out certain foods, but vilifying foods as the culprit of being over weight is simply passing the buck. I've reached…

Read the abstract, don't have access to the entire study. The only reference I found to increased obesity rates with these mice were when they were fed a high fat diet. " When challenged with a high-fat diet, arhythmic mice (either Bmal1-knockout mice or wild-type mice made arhythmic by exposure to constant light) were…

The number one indicator of maintaining weight loss is? You guessed it: exercise. Squeeze it in wherever you can. Every. Day. Also maximize your N.E.A.T. calorie burn by parking at the back of parking lots, stairs instead elevators, etc. And with that, I'm off for a quick 25 minute run. Best of luck to you.

Now here is someone with a very happy husband!!

Yeah not seeing it either. The guy's email was certainly lacking tact but it was also addressing the legitimate concern of the obesity problem the U.S. is faced with today and the role of public figures, her in particular. Is she involved with health and nutrition on that show? If so I see nothing wrong with it and i…

Well it sucks it didn't work for you and caused so much frustration. I'm very glad the HRM coupled with a trainer is working though. Just remember everyone's different and just because eating the cals back didn't work for you doesn't mean it's not a good approach for most people. It's the way this site was designed to be…

It's quite possible that your stall was as much due to inaccurate tracking of calories in as much as calories burned. It's been shown that most people tend to under estimate intake by 20% if they're not weighing their food. I was anal and weighed everything I ate as well as used a HRM. I still lost an average of 1-2 pounds…

Roasted cruciferous veggies. Broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, etc. They are completely transformed and utterly delicious when sprinkled with kosher salt, pepper, and few tablespoons of olive oil and then roasted at 400ish for 20 to 35 minutes. The florets of the broccoli are the least forgiving so start checking…

Your definition of "liberal" speaks nothing of liberal ideas or the people who lean toward them. It speaks volumes about you.

There's a pretty good one in Best Recipes cook book that doesn't involve crazy beef stock procedures that are usually called for. In fact it doesn't use beef stock at all but you honestly can't tell. And I'm a huge Pho fan having made it traditiditonally as well. For the ease I always go with the Best Recipe version now a…

Ive made this style soup before and can attest it's simple but delicious! Here is another website for it. The lady that runs it is adorable and shares fantastic Korean recipes. She even makes videos for most of them. http://www.maangchi.com/recipe/sujebi
