Need Weight Training Help and Diet!

Hey all,

New to the website and new to training in general. I don't know how I made it through college without lifting a single weight, but I have no clue what I'm doing. I have a bench with leg extension, EZ bar, and dumbbells in my basement setup and want to get a good foundation down with those before getting a gym membership.

Let's see. I'm 23, weigh 215, and want to get down to about 180. It's freezing where I'm at, so outdoor cardio is not an option as of now, but I'll start running again once it gets warmer.

Diet: Need tons of help with this. I have no clue what to eat, how much, and anything else I'm at a loss.

I've put off getting into shape for about 8 years now, and I'm sick of it. I'm sticking to it this time, and I can't wait to share my results with you.

Any help on anything would be great;ly appreciated!
