I can see it ~ looks great! Yay for the little things that make us happy! Keep up the great work!

I hope you are feeling better PickyPeggy! Keep moving, but take rests when you need them. Stay positive; soon you'll be back on your feet feeling good as new again. Best wishes!

They look great too! I think I'll get a pair of the insulated ones. Thanks for the information!

RED FLAG! At least he's being honest, but what happens if you get pregnant and then he cheats? He might then use the excuse that 'you knew how I feel about your weight problem'.... If he doesn't love you at your worst he doesn't deserve you at your best. Keep on looking. The right man is out there for you, and there's…

That is a wonderful outcome! I wish the both of you success!

That sounds like a great first ride. For some reason I'm thinking of Mythbusters now...ha! Okay, I'll stick to the plan and keep on reading. Thanks everyone!

I'd like to have 'respectable' speed, though I know that speed and endurance takes time to build up to. I've heard the adage that you can ride an event that is 3x your typical training ride but I don't know how true that is. My goal for this is to ride the 100k without being the old fatty on two wheels. Or at least if I am…

Heck, stay with us but just don't weigh in! Put 'pending' in your weekly weigh in slots. I'm sure your trainer has a good reason for this.

Cardio, circuit training, general.

Ha! If I'm the IDIOT, then why am I the one that hasn't been in an abusive relationship? Any person with two brain cells can tell the difference between a person who is rightfully cautious about their SO's other relationships passing into the 'affair' territory and someone who is abusive. It's easy enough to call someone…

It boils down to who is more important to you: your fiancee or your trainer. GIVE UP THE F#CKING TRAINER! CHANGE GYMS! Doing this will reassure your finance that he is the most important man in your life. It will not escalate his insecurity - the people who think this are idiots, really. Your willingness to reassure your…

Quotes from moms: "You so pretty if you not so fat!" "How come you never eat? Kid in Africa starving!" "Just hold in your stomach and it get smaller." "Eat fruit and rice in the morning, stop at noon like Buddah. Then you not fat." "If you no eat all that food she feel you insult her." (at a dinner party) "One your leg…

YOU are an inspiration! Consistency is the key.

You look amazing! And your eyes are gorgeous too!

I have very little respect for JM, although I am using her 30 Day Shred video. The more I learn about her and hear the way she treats people the less I want to send my money in her direction by buying her products.

This is something I wish I could post in every gym! LOL! Thank you for the blast of common sense.

Another good site for free help is www.nerdfitness.com. He covers some good basic strength moves that you can do without much equipment. Also, the Eat, Train, Progress group on MFP has some great mentors for fitness. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/10067-eat-train-progress-

Hi! It sounds like you have what I've read of as "skinny fat". You're light in weight, but your Lean Body Mass (LBM) is very low. Are you incorporating strength training? I'm "fat fat", ha! ~ But I'm doing a mix of cardio and strength exercises so that I can lose fat and keep my muscle. Best of luck in the challenge!

It's the most accurate way to measure calories burned. But you seem to be using it for everyday activities and not your exercise. It's important to go into your goals tab on the top of the MFP page and select your correct activity level. You sound light you're lightly active. Then the calculator will help you figure out…

I'm starting to add more cardio to my routine. I'm on day 20 of Julian Michaels' 30 Day Shred, and so far I've gained 2 lbs, gotten much firmer under all that fat, and improved my endurance. Now I need to…

Hi! Welcome to the group! I'd suggest starting off slowly. As a mom I found that if I slowly changed the diet then the kids were more willing to go along with it. I still keep things in our pantry just for them, but I'm able to adjust my recipes and make things that are more Paleo friendly to my way of eating. Best wishes…

I give them out every time I see a friend get out there and go for it, whether it's biking or running. I don't know what personal obstacles they had to overcome to get out and do their exercises. Even if it's their daily bike commute! Ha. Isn't consistency the key? And since it's too cold for wimpy me to get out there…

Bump for Saruk's thread post! I'd love to build muscle too. I'm in that group where I'm still fat enough to lose fat and add muscle (lucky me?), and I'm doing the 30 day shred plus just started adding the elliptical. I'm on the 20th day and have not lost weight, but I know I haven't been eating enough either, so that's…

I'm so sorry about your friend! I hope he/she recovers! Good music, a bottle of water, and the elliptical machine. Then a nice, hot shower and fuzzy jammies.

I love this community. Agree or disagree, flippant or serious, I can always count on my fellow MFPers to give me good feedback and lots of excellent experiences to draw upon. Thank you! There were several great websites that were shared that I will look at as well. My primary goal is to be a supportive, caring friend to my…

High gravity brews like these are why I have so much weight to lose! Ha!

I don't have this problem, but I am sorry you have this problem. It's too bad that they can't be happy for you, and maybe take a few tips to improve their own lives. I hope you get some help from others who have encountered this.

You did the hard work! Good job with sticking to it, you're an inspiration!

http://whole9life.com/2013/01/whole30-timeline/ Great site! Also, if your food is coming out looking undigested then you may consider chewing more thoroughly. I discovered that I used to rush through my meals to have time to do the other important things in life, and that I wasn't chewing well enough. If you get sick and…
