This was awesome. I bookmarked all your links and I'm in for a long read.

It's a good point you make, OP. This is under a doctor's supervision, he prescribed you the pills, and you're not eating any less that a gastric sleeve or bypass patient would be. So many people slam those who have surgery and say that they should do it without the procedure. Well, here you are - you're doing it! Please…

OP's second post was deleted. Three hours after her original post no one had replied, so she said something along the lines of how MFP 'sucks balls' (?) because no one responded to her and showed her any attention. I call a spade a spade. I'm calm - I was laughing at her while I posted. >> See my smile? ;D

You sound like a spoiled child. What... no one responds in the middle of the work day to a post you titled "Don't read this thread"? And then you lash out because no one cared? Grow up. You're not cute or catchy. You're spoiled and throwing a "LOOK AT ME" tantrum.

Good post

You're husband is an idiot. He needs to stop emotionally abusing you. Sorry - it's true. You get on that Nordic Track and ROCK IT, baby! Do what you need to do to get strong for you. He has his own problems to work out and they have nothing to do with you.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the good advice and input! I really appreciate it.

I don't have access to a pool. The crazy thing is that the PA who saw me said that I should be walking in 3-4 days. Not weeks; days! And he said that I should start using it as soon as I felt like I could, and to only wrap it if I felt like I really had to. A family friend who is also a doctor said that it was complete BS…

No one is always happy with how they look, but you're working on it! I've seen a lot of people have success with more weight training, but as far as those skinny fat girls with the perfect legs go, sometimes it's just genetic. You're doing a good job; keep at it! So many of us on here wish we looked as good as you do!

AMEN! I need to break up with my bad attitude too! We are our worst critic at times, aren't we?

Emotional and psychological weight gains and losses are big problem for a lot of people here. I don't know what the solution is - it's easy to say to just exercise and eat right no matter what you're feeling, but when you're in the midst of it sometimes the advice is hard to put into action. I'd love to see what other…

Wow! You went through what sounds like a valley of despair and came out alive and vibrant on the other side! You did great! Thank you for sharing; you might inspire someone out there not to give up on life or on themselves. Thank you!

You're an inspiration! Good work - sometimes it's all about watching and learning and taking those small steps!

Find a new doctor.

I see a TROLL! First and only post and this is what 'he' asks? Get real.

Blood sugar. Try eating something small right away; a banana or half a sandwich, and then 1/2 an hour later eating more carbs and some protein. Also try hydrating more. Check your blood pressure too. Your BP could be too low!

Partner? If you're not married then I'd seriously reconsider having a child together.

Calories, yes. Nutrition, absolutely. Along with, as others said, respect, self-discipline, morals, responsibility, etc. etc.

This, along with his asinine statement that he wishes it was just the two of you, are red flags. Honey, this guy is going to make your eldest three children feel unloved and unwanted. I can guarantee you that if you stay with this a$$hat he's going to mess up the emotional state of your children and they are going to…

Great post!

Great post, and so right! I looked up the technique and I'm going to try it this week. Thanks for sharing!

This is bound to get me some hate mail but... ... therapists can do more harm than good. They're really just someone paid to listen to you talk, and I have never, ever seen anyone 'cured' by their therapist. There are actually a lot of good books out there that I'd say are better to invest your money in than seeing someone…

Get professional guidance. I recommend reading "Marathoning for Mortals" first. http://www.amazon.com/Marathoning-Mortals-John-Bingham/dp/1579547826/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1403026358&sr=8-3&keywords=marathon+running+for+mortals

I suppose it's all in the details, ha ha! Well, hopefully you won't be discouraged to try the kind of riding because the stable owner looks down on it. That would be a shame. In every sport there can be a bit of elitism, as in "If you don't do it my/our way you're wrong". Just look at MFP and the debates about sugar,…

FIrstly, kudos to you for getting into something that your GF enjoys! It's great to see people sharing activities. When people tell you that there are tack stores around, I'd ask for specifics. What is the store's name? What is the address and number? A lot of people use State Line Tack for basics. For saddles, as you…

The OP and others who are saying that obese children is ALWAYS a factor of the parent being 'abusive' or ignorant are generalizing and do now know what they are talking about. It's easy to point fingers or to blame others. In this case, saying that your parents are responsible for you having been a fat kid. I have 6…

Who has time for boys? Any single hetero-sexual woman on this site is looking for a MAN! LOL! Love the bouncing ball gifs!!!!

Great job! What kinds of things did you do to lose so much weight? Was there two or three rules you had for yourself that got you this far?

Congratulations! Twenty five pounds is a great success! Keep up the good work - it'll all be SO WORTH IT! Good job!
