i find it encouraging :)

it does, whether exercise or not. You do a valuable thing for your family <3

^^^This^^^ My son's party is tomorrow and I've pre-logged everything except the cake - which I will try to be strong and say no to. Rather have a couple of vodkas for quarter the calories thanks!
-
Damn. Can I literally laugh my *kitten* off??? I actually DO log my cleaning, but I think MFP grossly overestimates burn so I just half it - about 30 cal for 15 mins housework rather than 65, especially since I do eat some exercise cals back.
-
Yup. My -turns four this week- boy wanted to go to Mcdonald's coz it's cold and wet. I stupidly gave him a choice of McD or Ikea...at least at Ikea I get a WALK.....
-
I would love to lose that much but that might be a bit too ambitious for me! (that would put me at about 75kg, which I can't even IMAGINE!) feel free to add me :)
-
Yep! Lets do this! Anyone - add me! :)
-
^^^^^THIS^^^^^ I eat it quite a lot! I found it really was the TOAST i was having with it that made more difference on the scale! Now I just skip the toast and go hell for leather on the bacon omnomnomnomnom

Lent: I'm not a catholic but it seems as good an excuse as any : I've given up facebook. this will be my first full day without it. maybe MFP will become addictive LOL. Foodwise I SHOULD give up something....but nah. I am looking forward to rejoining my fb friends with hot cross bun in hand LOL
-
thanks guys!
-
False. Next person hates the colour of their house
-
Not much so far, just trying to moderate and stay within goals. Make better choices, exercise more, LOL my house is getting cleaner by the day from doing intense cleaning! Mostly I've given up excuses - which i made most of last year (but i was sick - that is a reason) but well no-one to credit and no-one to blame if not…
-
I'm only just learning this now, and it *seems* counter-intuitive, but it is for real! MFP builds in the deficit for you too, so you don't need to go too much under your calorie goal for the day to be able to lose, in this case - less is not more and probably won't get you healthy results. Friend me if you want to! :)
-
thanks everyone, will check them out!
-
Keen to have a look. do you have a link please?
-
thanks :) my diary's open too if anyone's interested
-
Hmmm where to start LOL. Cheese and coffee are my biggest vices!
-
I'm 5'8 (lol sorry) I'm going for 75kg or about 165lb which means i still need to lose about 72lb (33kg)

I've been doing the celebrity slim shakes and they have been helping till I went "what the hell" just today when i realised how much sugar I was consuming in them. if i have 4 in a day, then that would be almost 4 times what MFP recommends as a sugar goal. I think optifast is similiar. I've tweaked most of my days now back…
-
@Stormtruck - where would i buy that? I'll admit the man reason i'm doing celeb slim is because its the cheapest...
-
Thanks everyone! I have decided to take a supplement (it stayed down, they usually don't) for the time being as yes i am at risk of anameia due to a medical condition. anyone know what happens if you have too much? does your body just get rid of it?
-
What sort of meat and does mince help or am i kidding myself with that one? HAHA i also cant eat a steak every night!
-
thanks everyone for your responses - I do in fact set smaller goals on my Wii every couple of weeks but i'm a "big picture' kind of person so I have to have something to aim for or why bother.
-
I shall be stoked to be 97 kg which is just under 10kg away for me. I do not remember ever being under 100 and well (I was about 90 full term pregnant but thats another story)
-
That's still a pretty respectable loss! Don't be too hard on yourself
