430. I had gained steadily up until the time I had my thyroid completely removed, and once it was removed, kept gaining until I was put on the proper brand and amount of thyroid hormone replacement. I didn't start losing until about 2 years after surgery. I'm now down to 313. GW is 180.

I second this opinion-- SUCH a good idea. Lentils are fabulous and even black beans and white beans can make fabulous soups with the right spices and just plain old water.
