Very sad. It's a shame she couldn't find another way to deal. R.I.P Angie.

If I slow down any more i'm just walking LOL!!! But I am determined to do this.

Welcome to the group! This is my 3rd attempt at this but I was sidelined by a nasty injury. I am currently on W4D1 today and am a bit apprehensive! You can do this you are making all the right choices such as setting specific days to run. I have to do that or I will be all over the place. I run Wednesday, Friday and…

Wow you look really great! Keep it up. And come on, you know those are your Twilight posters

I don't know why I concern myself with speed so much. I know as I go along I will eventually get faster. But I would love to be a bit faster than most lurching zombies! I'll give it a go and hopefully I don't die. :ohwell:

I'll be lucky if the gulls don't peck me to pieces! I need to concentrate on my breathing for sure. If you guys don't hear from me tomorrow, send flowers!

I use Subway as a treat once a week. I don't think I could eat it more often than that though. I usually always have cereal for breakfast. For lunch it varies between my favourite veg salad or a yummy chicken pasta salad and soup and on Thursdays I have Subway. Dinner is different every night, I love to cook!

Oh my gawd! I just took a sneak peek at W4D1. How the heck am I going to do this? I really struggled with 3 minute runs, I was so incredibly slow. I'm gonna die, I just know it. They will find my purple glove wearing, too fat to run, headphone wearing carcass in the middle of the football pitch and the C25K chicky babe…

The grocery stores here sell small, medium and large chickens. You would have to look at the package to see how much it weighed. If it was a fresh dressed chicken then you should weigh it before cooking. It also depends on how the chicken was cooked for the calories to be right. Get a food scale and measure your portions,…

Heating also doesn't take calories away...A friend asked me if you have hot mulled wine is it lower in calories because you heat it up? LOL yeah I wish!

Are you talking about frying or sauteing the onions. If you cook them till they are transparent in the juice of what you are cooking then it's just a sauted onion. If you put them into oil till they are crispy then that's frying. In checking the food list it's only 10 calories different for 1 oz of each. If you fry or…

The program recommends running for 3 days with a days rest inbetween days. So you could run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday then start week 2 Sunday and so on. I currently only run it Wed. Fri. and Sunday and I do the gym the other days. Good luck it is a great program.

Very nice, congrats!

Great NSV, congratulations!!!

Hellooooooooo W4! I just did my last W3 run today and will be starting W4 on Wednesday. Doing some leg weights at the gym tomorrow and Tuesday will be cardio, cardio, cardio.
-
Yeah! Finished W3 today and I did an extra 90 second run at the end again! Moving on to W4, very excited and apprehensive. Good luck to everyone coming into W3, you can do it.
-
Good job sticking to it Tani! Week 3 is not as scary as I thought. I found that in W2D2 I was worried about W3! It wasn't easy, but it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought. From what I've read going from W6 to W7 is a big jump. Good luck you can do this, make sure you come back here and tell us all about it.
-
Thanks everyone. I would love the runners high, but as long as I continue to get out there and do it, that's what counts. W3D3 today. In the fog.
-
Congrats and welcome to week 3. It's not so scary. Sunday is my last day then on to week 4! Good luck.

I'm in the same boat. You can't see a difference on me after 17 lbs. I can tell because i've dropped a pants size but no one else can. I took pics at the beginning so that I could hopefully see a change, retook those pics last week and they look EXACTLY the same :( It can be so disheartening, but as my weight comes off and…

I'm surprised at the amount of calories you are burning daily. You said you walk and run 6 hours a night at work, do you count these as calories? Is it part of your regular job? If it's something you have always done, you can't count these as your body is used to it. Looking at your diary you don't eat regularly or at…

Woohoo well done! What a great NSV.

Well you have taken the first step and it was totally up to you to come here, sign up and choose to make a difference. I like your mantra, keep it up! Good luck and if you ever feel down, go over to Success Stories, I spend so much time there reading.

W3D2 DONE! Oh and I weighed in today, 1.8 lbs lost! Yay I finally broke through my plateau. Now I just have to hold on to it over the weekend. Happy running everyone!!!
-
You've taken a big step by signing up here! This site is great in motivating you along. Well done on the 2 kgs lost. I would suggest going over to Success Stories and spend some time reading. People with lots and lots of weight have made a change without surgery. You can do this. I am in agreement with Rich, unless your…

I do C25K on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. I go to the gym Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Saturday is my one day off. That being said today I didn't make it to the gym. I had a bad night and didn't sleep well and woke up with a bad headache.
