  • I'm having issues with mine not syncing either. So is a disconnect/reconnect the fix around?
  • After recently completing C25k all on the treadmill, today I ran 2.74 miles and did my fastest mile (don't laugh) in 13:23 outside.
  • Wow, you look amazing! Congratulations on all of your hard work and success!
  • Boo*Berry!!! (Count chocula was ok and Frakenberry was nasty!) Apple Jack Corn Pops
  • I have 6, my newest one wraps around my arm just behind my wrist. It's an edelweiss vine with a tiny ladybug, it's a memorial piece for my mom. I have had a dog and cat pass away recently and I have ink imprints of their paws, those are next. I also want a memorial tat for my dad, just haven't figured that one out yet.…
  • I had baked lemon and dill seasoned salmon fillets, steamed asparagus spears and steamed rice with sundried tomatoes. Yummy!
  • Well done becka! I am back to running and will be happy when I get back to where I was. Keep it up and thanks for keeping me inspired.
  • That is really sweet!
  • It would totally be badass!!! I'm just hoping to get the t-shirt for Christmas, but a tat would be epic.
  • I do love me some asparagus! I love it steamed with a bit of butter and nutmeg. OMG and white asparagus is to die for. Here is a great recipe I make with it, perfect Sunday brunch! http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/asparagus_frittata/ You can add a tablespoon of Italian dressing when you add the asparagus, gives a nice…
  • I converted my paces as well (great idea!) and I have run 32.96 miles. I need to get moving if I want to hit 100.
  • You have to run for a full minute at a 20% increase. If you are walking start increasing your speed a bit and when it says Zombies approaching increase it again. I think running at a faster pace for a longer time is more effective than doing a sprint. Hope that makes sense. :)
  • I LOVE/HATE this show. It's so good but scares the snot outta me! I often think of it as I am lumbering along. A friend of ours comes to watch it at our house because I am a great source of entertainment, hiding behind my blanket and screaming at the appropriate times LOL.
  • Awesome! Hi Jason, I'm Runner 5 :drinker:
  • I just know that if I was running outside and I came around a corner to someone shuffling along I would be in need of bail money. I fear I may beat the crap outta the "Zombie". This is why I run on the treadmill, I am a danger to myself and possibly some unsuspecting stranger...
  • Welcome to the club! I haven't ran in 3 weeks :( need to get back to it. You're going to love it and we are here to answer all your Runner 5 questions.
  • OH I so do this as well. My sister does too. I was just recently in the US visiting her and we did a lot of cooking together and there was a bunch of mmmmmm'ing going on. Her boyfriend said it all sounded a bit pervy!
  • I don't eat the sharp pointy ends of fries. I pick them off and lay them in a pile. They are called fry-tails. I eat my fries/chips with mayo. I have to use a cup to rinse my mouth when I brush my teeth. I can't stand to slurp water from a faucet. No matter where I go I have to have a cup and I have to rinse the cup out 5…
  • Hello Runner 5! You will become addicted quickly. Unfortunately I am not getting my Zombie fix since I am on vacation and am suffering with a sinus infection :( makes it hard to run. Since you have an iPhone, you can make a playlist in iTunes. Mine is called, Running from Zombs. Once you make the playlist you can then…
  • Oh I wonder if it would? You're using GPS right, so in theory it should. You'll have to really kick it into gear at the chases. Of course you could just bike with the chases off, just be careful biking with headphones!
  • I do it on the undeadmill as well and I just run during the interval sessions for most of it. During the 10 min freestyle I do a bit of my own intervals. I plan on doing it this way for the first few weeks or until it gets a bit harder since I can't quite run a 5k yet.
  • That first mission is so great! Well done.
  • Welcome to the group, I'm glad you decided to join us. If you don't run and have the 5k version, you might want to start there. HOWEVER...in the original they introduce you to the characters as the story progresses. The 5k training happens between mission 1 and 2. So you may want to do mission 1 first so that you get the…
  • I use mine with an arm band thingy and just use the accelerometer setting and I do get chases. I however have not tried it on the elliptical, but thinking of the dynamics of it, it should work. Here is the secret to being chased and not getting caught is to increase your speed/motion of your arm by 20%. So the faster you…
  • We have a great group you can come hang with. I love the app. I use mine on the treadmill, with the iPhone and accelerometer they will chase you :) I trip over my shadow so running outside is a danger to myself LOL. Come check it out http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/6558-zombies-run-group
  • I would kill right now for some sleep. In the past week 4 nights were with less than 4 hours sleep. It's really starting to mess with my head. I am so exhausted that I can't manage to work out properly and while I don't eat more I also don't move around more so I could see where it can lead to a gain in weight.
  • Love me some Citizen Cope! It's hard to pick a fav. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EzxEepY0Ms&feature=fvst
  • OMG Hugh that's really scary! I'm glad you're okay....you are okay now, right?
  • Do you have an armband thingy hajenkatt? If so you can turn on the accelerometer and select armband thingy....if you have an iPod or iPhone. I'm not sure if Android has an accelerometer...
  • Bwahahahahaha! I can see why!
