Oh I was hoping we could talk a bit about Prince, but that option isn't available so I now dislike this thread!

Sorry can't change the size of the first pic!

The first 2 are my sister kitties, they turned 15 this year. The first one is Kokomo she has a bit of a Napoleon complex. She's the president of the itty bitty kitty commitee! The second is China, she LOVES my husband, she gets all sassy and flirty when he enters a room she is in. The first dog is Cody, he is a…

Ohh yeah you could be on to something...:)

Just let the scale do the talking for you. Smile and grit your teeth and then day by day, week by week they will see. Keep it up, you are doing so well!

Isn't this under chit-chat, fun and games? I thought it was a bit tongue in cheek. Maybe I'm wrong?

Bwahahahahaha, I didn't think there were too many people out there that knew what a F.U.P.A was. Oh just about fell out of my chair when I read that! Congrats on the loss, that is truly amazing!

Send the kids out, be at the door in heels and a smile?

I so look forward to your posts! They are beautiful and even though you post it on a forum, for some reason when you read it, it's like it was there just for you. I too hope that you find that special lady. Out there is one lucky cowgirl, just waiting to be swept off of her boots!

I have a friend who is exactly at the same point in her routine and she has lost half a stone but said it's not changed her legs yet. We walk together regularly and I think it's starting to show in her bum area!

I just googled this and found a recipe on allrecipes.com, I am so grabbing a bag of quinoa on my next shopping trip!

I was playing badminton on June the 8th, twisted wrong and tore my ACL, MCL and Meniscus. I am doing PT at the moment in hopes of avoiding surgery. I can tell you the MCL will heal over time, this is the second time I've torn mine. The ACL depends on the tear and what is happening inside. I just got back to the gym 2 weeks…

Thanks, lots of interesting information! I love the line at the end, If your food can go bad, it's good for you. If your food won't go bad, it's bad for you.' Very good words of wisdom.

Put me in the 'love the elliptical' club! I suffered a bad knee injury in June. Torn MCL, ACL and Meniscus and now that I am in physical therapy my PT says elliptical and bike only and no treadmill. I was very happy that I get to do elliptical. I burn uber calories on it and get a great cardio workout, oh and I've lost…

My mother and brother in law came for a visit from the US. We put in a food order for things we haven't had in years. The kids asked for a box of Twinkies. Of course when it got here I had to have a bite and I promptly spat it out. I then turned the box over and the list of ingredients OH MY WORD! There are a few things I…

You are welcome to add me. I don't coddle anyone, just be warned I can be hard sometimes. I am currently battling a bad knee injury and tend to get grumpier, but I find exercise helps my mood. Isn't doing crap for my knee at the moment but that's another story!

If you eat it or drink it, log it. I've seen black coffee with nothing added show as having 5 calories. It's a calorie going in, it needs to be one coming out. If you leave out a cup of coffee or tea you may think it's okay with other small things and those small things add up to really big things. Good luck!

I think if walking is a part of your exercising then certainly count it. Walking to my friends house for coffee (2 blocks) I don't count. When I go to the gym I walk from the bus depot to the gym, it's about 17 minutes and I count that as my warm up but don't count those calories. However every other day a friend and I go…

The obvious one is 'see your doctor.' I suffered a bad knee injury in June and I find that I have changed my walk to compensate. This has caused pain in different parts of my foot. So it could be something similar but definitely get it checked out. Hope it's better soon.

What an amazing transformation! I think you look like Katie Holmes. Gorgeous :)

As an American living in the UK, I can see both sides. The diet industry is the US is a huge business. They will slap 'low' this and 'half' that on just about everything. There is a fast food drive thru on every street corner, sometimes there's 2. I think if people would think 'healthy' more than lowfat or diet then you…

Wow, just Wow! You look amazing. Congratulations!

You look great! I'm glad you posted those. After my injury, I found I wasn't reading MFP like I had done previously. Saying that I did always follow your status updates because I knew you could do this. And I wasn't wrong. Next set comes when you hit the 200's, deal?

Welcome Deb! You will find lots of great information and really great members (like me!) LOL I'm glad you joined up! Deb and I are great friends and she is a true inspiration. She has taught me a lot on my journey.

First things first, it happens to everyone! Just keep logging into MFP on a daily basis. In early June I suffered a major knee injury. I find out this next Friday whether I have to have surgery or just rehab. I have not been to the gym and I was worried about losing sight of my goals. I find that if I am having a down…

(((Hugs))) Thank you Becka, you are too kind!

Thanks! I just thought I was being a big ole weeney about it. It's good to know I am 'normal'? It will be a very slow process to get back to where I was but I will get there in the end!

The joys of the NHS. It took me 2 1/2 weeks to just get an MRI appointment! The doctor I am seeing is a specialist who is in the hospital on Fridays only so I've got the first available. I've tried to call and speak to him but it's not possible. I am not asking for an exercise routine, just wondering if feeling this…

They advertise all sorts of anti depressants, bipolar meds, you name it they advertise it. But heaven forbid you see a boob!
