  • When I put down what I Wanted to lose mfp told me to eat 1200 calories. I was so cranky when I ate so little, even with eating my exercise calories. I bumped it to 1400. I am still losing about a pound a week, and much more pleasant to be around.
  • Welcome! You will get stronger. I am just starting phase 3 and am back to 12 pounds for weights because she has me doing 15 reps and they are mostly in super or triple sets. In phase 2 though I got up to 15's and 20's. Great job though already!
  • I need to make these recipes! I was going to do it last week and didn't ever get to it. You guys are doing awesome! I love the sore feeling. It is such a good feeling to know I am doing something good for my body even if it hurts. And leg days always make me shake and seem to get me sweating more than the other days.
  • I usually try to go a little heavier as well, but some areas like chest just don't seem to budge for me. My weakest area for sure is chest. Oh, and abs. :) But I am getting better on those.
  • ha ha, lindsey, I don't like the leg curls either they always hurt my quads really bad. Just wait until you get to a lift called the donkey lift for your calves. It hurts your arches so bad! Hate when I see it on the list for the day.

  • Yeah I agree it is really hard to not eat as many carbs in the evening. I workout in the afternoon and am starving by the evening. I don't really like eating meat much. I can do chicken and sometimes enjoy seafood. But the same thing starts to get old. I need to find some new recipes. :)

  • Kat, I am on week 7. Have you been pretty good at reducing your carbs on this phase? So far I haven't but I am committed to do better at it. I love this program! I also agree with the hide the scale. I have lost lots of inches as well and just love how well my clothes are fitting.

  • nmalek- I did cardio in the first phase too. Jamie actually recommends doing the cardio after your weight training. It burns more fat. She talks about it in her video for phase two.   • I haven't tried them but my friend made them and didn't like them at all.
  • Just take it easy if anything hurts. I did crossfit for a few days with a friend and my shoulder was really hurting. I did super low weights on shoulder days for the week and that seemed to help. Just don't over do it if you are injured.
