  • I prefer to wear boy cotton cut shorts when running. They are very comfortable.
  • Good Luck!! It's a great program!! I am on week 6 & LOVE IT!!!
  • I give my son a balanced healthy 'diet'. As a family we changed our eating habbits to include more fruits, veggies, whole grains, protein and dairy. Don't get me wrong my son has his fair share of treats but, don't we all?? I was an over weight child and have struggled with my weight my whole life. I do not want want the…
  • The same thing happens to me. I notice it goes hand in hand with dehyration (for me anyways). If I haven't been drinking enough fluids (or if it is an extermely hot day) before my workout then my fingers swell a little. When it does happen after I drink my post workout water my fingers are back to normal.
  • I am SO a stress eater & I love to polish of a bag of Salt N' Vinger chips when I am stressed. My solution ~ don't keep chips in my house any more. If they aren't there I can't eat them. If I start to feel stressed or had a bad day ~ as soon as I get a few mins I will workout & put all the stress into my workout. Always…
  • I sautee kale with garlic, crushed red pepper flakes & EVOO ~ yummy!!! I use it as I would spinach & put it in my veggie lasanga too.
  • Congrats!!! It's a great feeling!! I am currently on Week 6 ~ Day 2 will be tomorrow. So excited!!
  • My knee acts up every now & again. I find that sneaker with good support helps them & some days I even wear a knee brace. Start slow. Walking, low impact aerobics or water aerobics. Remember it's not a race ~ so take your time. Find something you enjoy. In time the weight will come off & I'm sure your knee will feel…
  • I eat all 'normal' foods as well. I am a full time working mom. My day is jammed already. The last thing I want to do is make more than one meal. And, I want to instill in my son a healthy eating lifestyle. Our menu plan tends to be made up of fruit, veggies, dairy, protein and whole grain. I 'lighten up' all of my…
  • I have a treadmill and try to workout out nights (after bed time) or mornings (before my my one year old wakes up). I work full time & have an hour commute and sometimes find it hard to make time. My workout routine changes day to day depend on my schedule & my sons demands. On nice nights or weekends, I take my son out in…
  • I was in the same situation as you a few months ago. I used things around my house. Laundry Detergant bottles (i filled my empties with water at first & slowly have been adding sand to make them heavier as I go). I do arm curls while doing the stairs. I look like a fool but, it's also in the privacy of my own house so I…
  • Glad to hear you were able to run to minutes now  I was going to ask if you checked your breathing while running. Make sure you are inhaling & exhaling. Nice breaths, not quick short breaths. Makes a difference. Good luck!!!
  • Please feel free to add me I am on Week 5
  • I just switched my workouts from evenings to mornings. Well except for today (lol). I wake up at 4:55am so I can complete my workout and have breakfast (my few mins to me) before getting in the shower. After I shower I wake up hubby, and my son. Get my son ready & feed him breakfast. We are out the door by 6:30am. It's…
  • Thought you meant booty shorts, too. My goal is to be able to wear them this summer and bring my sexy back.

  • I pound my out & spread some laughing cow on it & a slice of thin ham. Roll it up & use a tooth pic to hold it together. Bake ~ yummy!!! I also poud it out & uses Fiber One Cereal to bread it & pan sear it & than poor some rec'd Fat cream of mushroom soup over. I am sure you could do this in the oven as well but, it only…
  • Congrats!!! You deserve to pat yourself on the back a few times!! Be proud of yourself!!!
  • You are the only person who will know when the 'time is right' for a baby but, my advice is not to rush it. You are both still so young & have your whole lives ahead of you. Enjoy being a married couple...once you have a baby everything will change & yes all the change is worth it but, it will never be just the two of you…
  • Please feel free to add me. I workfull time & have a one year old son. I have an hour commute each way ~ plus a pit stop at daycare. It does make for LONG days. I always worked out in the evening right after I put my son to bed. It worked out great. But, with all the nice weather (Boston, MA) coming I switched my workouts…
  • What a great idea!! Keep us posted
  • Great feeling!!!! Congrats!!! Heres to lucky number 6 :) I was able to wear my sizes 8 jeans on Friday for the first time in a long time
  • I recently started pilates as well. It does really work your core. It's not an intense workout but, you do get results.

  • I am from Boston, MA. We love St Pattys day. We are closed today for Evacuation Day (or so that is what it is offically called). Sunday is our big parade. Gotta love being IRISH in BOSTON
  • We have the same rule in our house. One day a guest left the toliet lid up & wow did we have a nice puddle to clean up in the bathroom after...lol...
  • I make mini cool whip sammys. I use 2 Vanilla Wafers & put some cool whip inbetween them. I freeze them wrapped in plastic wrap. They are yummy!!! Sometimes I even added flavored extracts to the cool whip before freezing.
  • I use laughing cow cheese & ham...so yummy!!!
  • When I got married I had the same problems. I wanted something elegant not revealing or clingy. I dragged my mom to all kinds of bridal stores and finally after 101 stores & 507 dresses...I found the dress of my dream dress at a consignment store. It was the classic prefect dress I imagined and at half the price of my…
  • Do you have good supportive running sneakers? Have you checked your posture when walking/running? I would consult with my doctor if I were you. If there is an injury you do not want to make it worse. Good luck
  • These are great & it only makes two so it's a nice little treat  http://www.brettbara.com/baking/recipe-two-exactly-two-chocolate-cupcakes/
