The 500 calorie count I guestimated is net. I know I burn around 500 calories in a gym session, so guessing she does too. I know from previous posts that her average meal is 300 calories - to a max of 500. If her BMR is say 1200, plus exercise calories, her deficit is HUGE. Anyway, thanks for the link. I agree with…

This is amazing - I love the fact that you went for it even though you had every excuse not to. I bet your children are so proud of you - what an inspiring way to show them that, with hard work, anything is possible.

You need to eat more. I have had a look at your diary and you are most certainly eating at dangerous levels. Your 'cheat day' is 1000 cals and most days are 400-800 calories. Your body is struggling to function at these levels which is why it can't regulate temperature. My suggestion is to relook at your goals and…

Mmm....we are so close on this thought except mine would read.... 'I want people to view me as a whole, and love me, and for the right person, to find me sexy and desirable for all of me, including my massive boobs'

I Watch netflix on my kindle fire! I love the treadmill!

We got gifted a 20 year old Vitamix - they are awesome. Ice, frozen fruit - you name it, it blends it. You can also make soup with them, which you can't do with a normal blender! We love ours

I go to a smaller gym in a smaller community (not in a big city). I find that everyone is very supportive, I used to be the person walking around trying to figure out how it works, now I am the person that helps the lost souls! Go and talk to the owners and ask to meet some of the trainers and maybe some of the patrons…

The strap goes under my boobs (and fits under my sports bra strap - it just feels like the strap)

Inspiring! Well done on that milestone. That motivation should carry right through to your next goal easy!

How very bizarre. :noway:

Are you eating or netting 1200 calories?

Have you been measuring yourself? The shred is designed to build muscle and so you may be trading fat for muscle which could make the scale stand still although you are shrinking size wise. Take measurements - you just not be noticing a change! I lose this way - Ill drop a few lbs then stay they and drop inches, then a few…

I do weights two/ three times a week and cardio once or twice. I ride horses once a week and do a workout video once or twice a week. I make sure I have at least 2 days off.

Only according to BMI, which is a flawed system. And yes OP, I think may of us adjust our goals as we move down the scale. It might be a new weight goal, or a body fat percentage. Setting smaller goals give us motivation to go on - gratz on your progress so far!

Oh nothing feels as good as dropping a dress size! Well done, that is a great success!

Running! At school I hated running - I would hide in the bathrooms and have a cigarette with my friends instead of going to gym class during athletics season. Now I love it! (and I haven't smoked for 8 years either!)
-
Just amazing! You must be very proud of yourself, its sounds like you committed wholeheartedly and it paid off for you. You look fantastic!

So don't count calories then. You are the only one who has control over your path - if you want this, and know WHY you want this, then you start figuring out how to get it. It is tough, but do-able. If counting calories drives you insane, then do other things. Eat a big green salad then wait 20 minutes before your next…

Woweee! What an amazing transformation! You have literally worked your butt off!

You'll stop feeling tired when you starting fueling your body! BMR is the number of calories your body needs just to exist. Your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) is a higher number which factors in usual daily tasks like walking around, working etc. You need to cut your calories from your TDEE not your BMR. If you…

I love eating clean. The biggest benefit for me is being able to control what gets 'hidden' in processed foods - sodium, fats and sugars that do not need to be added. Additionally, eating clean keeps my diet free of most preservatives. Some cost saving ideas that I found useful are: - Buy Ezekial bread - it is sprouted and…

I hear you. What you are feeling now was the SINGLE most important thing I changed about my journey. I would go on these insane diets, be perfect for 4 days, then binge, feel disgusted and give up. I had to change my mind before I could change my body. I still have moments of weakness, but I am on this journey for a…

I turn purple - it is not pretty.

OP did not say she had stopped working out. She has traded boring non challenging cardio for other forms of exercise - cross training etc. And with that kind of program, she will be losing fat and building lean muscle mass. I think her achievement is fantastic.....and most importantly: sustainable. Well done!

Well - all these foods are healthy and should be part of a balanced diet - but the negative calorie thing is a misnomer. I wish it were true though!

Aaaah - I see. Gosh, I really do need to start rethinking what I am doing. I finish shred this week and was going on the p90x - I don't want to do the whole program (yet), but would that qualify at HIIT or leg cardio? Or would leg cardio be my running. I really appreciate your input here - I am a 'newbie' in the grand…

I am going to have to ask you to clarify this - I am not 100% sure what you are trying to say? I have had plenty of energy for workouts until recently, I agree I need more fuel, but I want to keep on getting fitter.I work out to get fit and strong. I am improving - every workout I can run longer and faster, or do more…

Bah - now I am quoting myself? Seems my brain is tired too :ohwell:
