When I first started MFP, I didn't include the calories I was burning while b/f and I was not eating back my excercise calories. After a week and a half I was really dragging my feet, and falling asleep almost every time I'd sit down to nurse my baby. I then started adding them in, 500 daily, so I am eating 1850 if I don't…

I told him I posted this yesterday and all about the replies I got. He apologized! Lol! I told him if he brings it home it's going in the trash and he said "then i'm not bringing it home!" So let's see if he keeps his word and I keep mine! Thanks for all the tips everyone. I look forward to trying them.

I've tried talking, getting mad at him, guilt tripping him. Here's the thing, I know it's my problem. Not his. Yes, if he cared he wouldn't do it but he doesn't. Because he doesn't think he has a problem and isn't on the same page as me on the whole healthier habits thing. Right now, he sees this as MY thing and he…

I get that I don't have to eat it. But it sure feels like I do! I am addicted to sweets. At least that's why I think I have such a hard time saying no. And I also agree with not giving it to my kids. It's gotten to the point where they run to him when he gets home and ask him if he brought candy! Crazy. I've thought about…

Hi there, I'm a stay at home mom too. And I was just wondering how to workout today, with baby or without? The window of opportunity gets smaller as the day goes by. Sounds like we can help one another! Add me if you like.

I agree, as long as your doctor gives you the okay, you keep doing what is right for you. And family comments seem to bug more than anyone else's for some reason. But hopefully you can just let those comments go in one ear and out the other.

Thank you for replying. I definitely don't want to jeapordize my supply, she won't be on solids for another month. And I am really under that amount of calories, I'm eating about 1500 a day. Gotta do what I gotta do, she comes first! I wish you and your baby the best!

I'd love to give it a try. I tend to push myself harder than I should. I've ended up with ankle injuries and shin splints before. But believe me, I can't wait!!!!!

Hi there and welcome! I just joined yesterday myself! I think joining with others will be great for you, there's more accountability and more fun in sharing. Sorry to hear about your leg, but I'm glad you're back on track. So, I'm 33, four kids, still nursing my youngest. I'm pretty health conscious but there's a pretty…

@ireshgurl: Wow, sounds like a bummer to not feel comfortable showing all that ink off! I love tattoos but I was never bold enough to go for it. I'm sure you would look great in those shirts! I used to hate tank tops, (no way I'm showing my arms!) but I got hot! Lol! Had to decide between sweating or comfort and comfort…

@ireshgurl: I agree! Sometimes you do become better at hiding it with clothes. Actually, I've always wanted a tattoo but promised myself I'd get it if I lost weight. That was in my teens. Lol! Maybe this time it could be a reward for meeting my first goal.

In my case I was blessed with a uh bigger backside...:) I've got mixed feelings about this too. The attention seems to give me ego boosts on some days on others not so much.

I've heard all those reactions too! My health has always been great and I enjoy exercise, but I didn't get to 255 lbs by having a healthy relationship with food. So I'm happy to be on here on my way to a healthier me. Best wishes to all you ladies!
