Over the course of a week I probably have jam 2-3 times, and a single dove dark chocolate 3-4 times...Eventually I would like to make my own jam, but life is a bit too crazy right now. I do not want to turn from sugar to artificial sugars, as I feel that defeats the purpose of eating healthy. I do eat processed foods…

I did the butt bible upper body today and it was awesome! thanks for the suggestion. i may do her lower body one as well. she is no nonsense!

Thanks everyone! Intuitively I would think that I should be able to eat the recommended servings of fruit without worrying about my sugars, but I have started to pay attention to my macros, and didn't want to be screwing the whole thing up with just my sugars. I fixed my diary settings, it was previously set to "only…

thanks for all of the suggestions! can't wait to try some of these!

Oh, and abdominal workouts would be awesome too. Thanks!

Goal for next week: 182 5'3" HW: 200 SW: 195.4 CW: 182.8 8/1/12 GW: 180 **I think I need to revise this as I am almost to this goal! My new goal will be 175 by 8/1/12

Thank you for this. I watched several of your videos and read many of the explanatory posts this past week and decided to gradually up my cals to my BMR, which is 1622. I have been at 1200 for about the last month and lost 16 pounds, but I don't want to make my body used to 1200 calories since I still have 45 pounds to go!…

I get romaine lettuce and make wraps with the lettuce. You would be surprised how full and satisfied you can be! I used to be a breadaholic, and have mostly eliminated it from my choices...once and a while it will happen on italian night, otherwise I find a substitute!

I LOVE it when a restaurant has their info available. I have no problem if it is not on the menu, so long as I can find it online. I will say in some instances it has made me more likely to eat somewhere. For example, I found out I can get an unwich from Jimmy Johns for around 200 calories that will keep me full for hours.…

i always always log. keeps me accountable!

At first I was doing 30 day shred 6 days a week, and that was it. About a week and a half ago I incorporated the couch to 5k. My muscles were so, so sore the day after week 1, day 1. I would recommend going every other day with the couch to 5k to start, and continue with the 30DS. But, it all depends on your body! Push…

Haha, Jillian and I have a love-hate relationship. I love that I don't get bored with her workouts (and loving that I even HAVE a core now!) but not a fan of her negative talk. Her DVDs do work though. I have the 30 day shred to finish up, and then I am going to do the Burn Fat, Boost Metabolism one, and then move on to…

I hear ya-I don't expect these results every month, but I can tell you it is a real motivator! I also have a desk job, and spend about 2 hours of my day commuting, and on top of it, until January, when I got home I would be sitting and studying. I was extremely sedentary! I also had been vegetarian for almost 10 years, but…

wow, you look great! i am definitely going to check out Turbo Fire. I'm thinking that will be a good one for over the winter when it is too cold and snowy to be running and biking. Keep it up, that's an amazing transformation!

Yep, I was working full-time with two kiddos, a dog, and my boyfriend at home. I kept telling myself I didn't have time, and that I would take care of myself when I got done, and that got me 20 pounds heavier. Good for you for starting now!
-
Thanks everyone! I am doing a combination of both. I am doing Couch to 5k and the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, which incorporates cardio and strength training. Seeing how quickly results can come when you treat your body right is the biggest inspiration to no binge or over indulge!

I always wear a minimizer and a sports bra. Keeps them separated, in place, and keeps me from getting super sweaty all over :)

Oh, I'll join! I'm already halfway through 30DS, but I will add in burn fat boost metabolism and no trouble zones if I get bored! Name/Screenname: CassandraMarie3 Starting Weight: 184.5 Goal Weight: 175 (for this challenge) ultimate goal weight: 130 06/18: 06/25: 07/02: 07/09: 07/16: 07/23: 07/30:

I'm on level 2 still, day 4 technically. I have been running as well, and not always able to get shred in on the days I run. We're going on a family vacation Monday-Wednsday and I think I will likely just use the fitness center, so I am planning on sticking with Level 2 through next Monday (June 25th).

just goes to show how much sizes differ. all my express size 12 pants fit-snuggly, but they fit. My size 12 anne kline clothes do not fit yet :( being as this was my only size 10, I am guessing I have a while until i will be buying 10! I will try them again July 15th :)

Sofia and Matilda from Goose Island are some of my favorites!

i know! i am so excited to go home and try on the rest of my clothes!

these lists are awesome! i usually stick to the things i'm used to, so it's nice to know what others choose!

Ok, so on days I run, I'm doing level two. On days I don't, I will keep going with level 2 for 10 times.

I agree with those above-if you can stay within your calorie limit, drinking beer will not make you gain weight. That being said, if your calorie limit is set low, you should definitely make sure you get in the necessary nutrients for your day prior to wasting your calories on alcohol. I am a huge beer fan, specifically…

my last year of college I was absolutely binge eating, though I didn't realize it until I tried to lose weight and felt the constant compulsion to EAT. i have gotten that under control now, and turn my compulsion into drinking TONS of water, challenging myself to make creative, healthy meals and snacks, making myself do a…

THANK YOU! I got shin splints when I was really into running a couple years back and they kinda turned me off from running in the future. I ran on Sunday (just the couch to 5k day 1 program) and they are feeling sore today :( I'm going to run every other day and try the icing idea too!
