My knees crackle something fierce, especially when I'm warming up or doing squats. I was formerly obese...310 now down to 180. And they always made noise. There use to be pain in both knees and hips, but now just noise.

The trainer at our gym recommended TRX when we were looking to incorporate upper body strength work. I absolutely love it, and I've been doing it regularly now for a couple weeks. I may have to look into the at-home system.

I haven't used this particular video, but I use Leslie Sansone's walking videos when I can't get outside...I generally log them as "walking" I may have to check into this one...with winter coming up, I'll be searching for a few good videos to rotate between to keep active.

Active.com has a page of stretches you can do to strengthen your foot/heel...mine hurts like crazy when I either wear the wrong shoes or don't get enough stretching beforehand. I found taking a day off of strenuous exercise/walking and just doing the stretches helped immensely. That and getting different shoes with better…
