You have already set a deficit in calories by eating at 1400. You would lose weight at this, even with no exercise. When you add the exercise in, you are increasing your deficit even further and it may stress your body. It depends on your settings. If you are already set to lose 2 pounds a week, then you should eat most of…

Exercise burn is highly variable......gender, weight, heart rate, endurance, effort etc. If you are serious about accurate calories, invest in a heart rate monitor (HRM) with a chest strap that you can program with your stats. If not, use a generic activity like aerobics or something similar to your activity and do not…

How about I don't catch the flu......ever.......so why would I inject myself with it? I have not had the flu since 1988 or 1989. My kids don't get it due to egg allergies. And they don't catch the flu either. Yes we get head colds, but that is it.

As the mother of a 6 year old with this dairy protein allergy issue (in addition to eggs and nuts) I know how she feels. Labels are your best friend, once you know which words to look for. If you search enough, you can find products that do not contain the dairy. I get chicken fingers from Costco that are potato breaded,…

That was incredible! Thank you so much for a great laugh this morning. Shared it with my friends and gave the credit to you!

Great progress, keep it up! So important for your health!

Toxins: sunscreen, air pollution, artificial sweeteners, byproducts of alcohol consumption, smoking, pesticides on foods, preservatives used in many foods, etc. Those are just a few examples of things we inhale, ingest or absorb into our bodies.

No, ha ha! It doesn't mention wraps. But it does discuss the body storing excess toxins in fat cells and how those toxins are released again with burning/releasing that stored fat. Natural medicine and treatments have been slammed for years by the medical industry because it doesn't make them money from drugs. There are…

Did you talk to the distributor that you got them from? Sometimes soaps or lotions we are using can lower absorption. Were you drinking the recommended amounts of water? Did you take before pictures to compare against? I know I sometimes don't see the results in the mirror, but put photos side by side and the difference is…

Actually, scientifically, it does make sense. When you have an abundance of toxins, your liver may be overworked. Your body protects itself by storing those excess toxins in fat cells, most commonly in the abdominal area. And, when dieting and exercising, the fat layer under your skin is preferentially burned, not the fat…

Like the other supporters have said, the It Works wrap is NOT a dehydration wrap like so many others on the market. It does not claim to be a weight loss product. It tightens and tones skin. I have used them, after dropping 60 pounds to tighten the loose skin. It worked, and my results lasted for over a year until I got…

Last update I saw was 22 injured and 2 dead. So tragic!

Congrats on your baby! Guessing you didn't need the induction after all. Hope all went well!

My 3rd child will be 1 month on March 21. I gained 44 pounds with her, after losing 65 pounds 2.5 years ago and keeping ~55 pounds off for almost 2 years. I have started tracking my food at maintenance levels for now, and adding 350 calories for breastfeeding. Started walking again, and found that the walking I did during…

Wow, you have deliveries like me.....all h*ll breaks loose once the water breaks! LOL Glad all went well and the you were able to do a VBAC successfully. Picture looks beautiful! Congratulations!

I find the same thing, and I think for me, it is a fear of stretching out my stride on the treadmill. I am subconsciously worried about stepping off the belt, either front or back. So my stride is shorter, and my run is not as comfortable. If I really focus on my stride, I can maintain the same pace effortlessly, but it is…

DoubleT, you are the second person I have seen having early contractions.....my other friend started at 30.5 weeks.....glad they were able to stop yours. Hers are still sneaking up and she is on bed rest now. Rachypompa......no activity from you for a few days, hope all is well with you and baby!

I delivered at 41 weeks, and was so ready! I hope you have a quick delivery when the baby or doctor decides it is time!
-
Just did it for you :-)

I was 5'8" and 214 pounds. I made it down to the mid 150's and stayed there for 18 months or so, before getting pregnant. Now I am losing it again after delivering my daughter on Feb 21. It is possible! I also ran a half marathon last year, after barely being able to job 60 seconds when I started losing weight.

That last while was the hardest for me! Hope you get to meet your little one soon! All my company is now gone, and today was my first full day alone with the 3 kids, as my husband left for another long truck trip last night. It went well, and the two older kids are being a big help. Anara is very mellow, and that is a nice…

I heard it on Serenity/Firefly, but they spell it Inara. We are saying it the same way, but changed the spelling slightly to make pronunciation easier. I did find out that Anara is a name with a meaning though, meaning either "princess of peace" or "pomegranate flower". Good luck Rachy! And welcome to the 3rd trimester RBX…

Thank you everyone! We welcomed Anara Lillian Dux on February 21, 2013 at 5:59pm. We got home last night and I have a free moment here to write up her birth story. Had a doctor checkup on Wednesday, February 20th, and I was able to convince him that labour would not proceed unless my water was broken. I had also had an…

No little one yet, this one is stubborn. Having my water broken tomorrow morning, as long as there are beds available. Will be 41 weeks then, and very ready to meet my little one. On a sadder note, my last grandmother passed away today, so really hoping the baby turns out to be a girl, as I was planning on using her middle…

Hope that your baby has arrived safely by now and that you were able to avoid the induction. I am 40 weeks, 3 days now and starting to go a little squirrelly! 3rd night in a row with decent contractions, not just minor ones, that faded out about 2-3am. Remembered a conversation yesterday from in the delivery room with my…

Hoping for you too! This last little bit of waiting is the worst!
-
At least last night was quiet, so got some sleep. Go see the doctor in a few hours for my "40 week" appointment, so hoping I have progressed to a point that he might consider breaking my water. Fingers crossed!

I am definitely ready to be done! 39weeks 6 days now. Due date is tomorrow. Been 2-3 cm dilated since last Thursday, and on about day 10 of false labor. Felt different last night, change in discharge and lots of time on the toilet, but 3am here and still no real labor. Next appointment is on due date at 10am, so hoping if…

Moderation means different things to different people. Some can do a small portion once a day and ignore the rest that is sitting there until the next day. Others can try a once a week or once a month approach, but have to go out to get that single serving or risk a binge. Some people have to cut the food out completely.…

It was a great day and the doctor news was good too! Already at 2-3cm dilated, baby is down and fully engaged and he expects me to go in the next 4-5 days :-) Had a great photo shoot with my friend and looking forward to seeing pictures soon!
