I agree with most of the above - eg the mattyexperiment etc and focusing on the calories in not out, and that the likes of MFP grossly exaggerate burn etc I have a fitbit , I m aware it includes my ' resting' calorie burn. i dont hink chile con carne would be too bad .. with rice even .. as long as the prtions arent too huge I would avoid the wraps and especially the cheese sauces other wise anything heavily tomatoe would be good salads have to be a great option

I lost a kilo this week with fit bit I log food in MFP exercise in fitbit is done automatically - but i do overwrite for ski and cycling etc ... i leave it on though even when doing those ! i find it less generous with the burn than MFP I am finding that MFP is giving me many more calories than fitbit so i am using the…

When you say it asks for the time .. does it ask how long ? or what time you did it so it knows which bit to overwrite ?

I love the outdoor and do a lot of outdoor activities , but I cannot run at all without something underneath me propelling my feet ! So for the (rare) days i cannot get outdoor I do enjoy my treadmill

I usually go 50 mins - but most of the time I am not doing what many class as running - more walking very fast !

It took me form June till October to lose 7 kilos in December I put 3 kilos on I have reset my loss to NIL and I will see how much I can lose in 2013 ... maybe it is a shame to lose the credit for the 4kg - but to be fair , i have lsot 18 stone before - the same 3 stone six times !!! anyone out there in similar situation…

The reason I am oversight is because i used to drink alcohol and eat crisps - but i have stopped that According to MFP My BMR is 1600 but I think this is too high as if i were on the old Weightwatchers system I would only be allowed 17 point which is just about the minimum . I eat 1100 cals a day - i struggle to eat that…

I dont as I struggle to eat my calorie allowance anyway .. but I have to say after a week or so my loss slows down .. it discourages me .. I go off the diet , .. then I restart at a later date and start the process again from this and the above replies I would say that we should eat at least half of our excercise calories…
