Thank you for all these post. going today to find these books. I really need some structure in the lifting part. and I think i will get this here. I am also wondering if my 1200 calories a day is correct. I do a lot of cardio on the elliptical at least 4-5 times a week and had about 20-30 strength minutes. I am losing less…

I have done weight watchers twice and have almost made it to goal both times, think my goal weight is to low. But I agree with their program they promote life changes and that is what we need. I don't want to pay for the meetings at this time and feel if we keep getting the support here we can make it. Thanks for the reply.

Will do Thanks. Do have a gym membership and plan to start back next week when weather isn't so miserable to get out in. Last year had a trainer, went to classes mostly zumba and weight. Hurt my shoulder on the weights and had to take a break. It made a lot of difference, lost around 25 lbs. So everything you are promoting…

In there with you, need all the support we can get. I am a retired Marine so I get mad at myself because I should be more disciplined. been retired since 1997 so not so young and active anymore. . Have fought the weight off and on since my retirement. Hang in there it hopefully we will be posting lots of weight loss.

Will do , and I agree it is a life change. I do not call any new eating habits a diet. don't plan to be on a diet for the rest of my life.

Don't know the "stone" term so not sure, was going to ask also. I too am vertically challenged. Have been all my life so I hate to use that anymore. Just stinks that 5lbs looks like 20 on a short person.

So true, I let stress take over and then I pay for it. Will do it again though.

Wow! guess I wii be overeating in the portion area, 36 seems like they will be very small, but maybe not. Gonna make these. Thanks for the recipe.

Used Weight Watchers before and I did the points, it worked for me until I got off the program- had lost 40 lbs, not just once 2 times. My fault not weight watchers. Tracking is important, doesn't matter if it is points or calories. My problem with Weight Watchers is I know the programs they have and since I paid for it…

first- just eating to use your calories is not a way to lose weight. That is why you are on MFP right? Before you eat that fruit think about the sugar that is in fruit.not good right before bed. If it is just a craving have some water and eat something healthy for you but keep it small. I usually have 300 or more in…

not sure what I actually burned just used what came up on the site. how would I calculate it to know what I burned. My heart rate was up and I know I worked up a sweat.
-
Thanks, I did put it in that way. totally surprised I burned 100 more calories on the elliptical yesterday than at dancing the zumba. nice change though.
