One of my friends was telling me that what helped her was to post it on Facebook, etc. Then people ask her all the time how her workout is going, and she doesn't want to let them down or feel "stupid" by saying that she quit, so it pushes her to keep going.

I once saw a post too where a gal weighed her apple whole, ate all but the core, and then weighed just the core, it saved her about 40 calories! So cutting the apple and weighing it will also help to get more accurate calories.

I have similar problems, I'm on the Mirena...you will hear a lot of people tell you to eat more calories, well, when I did that, I gained...I actually had to cut my calories back to about 1100 and I started losing again. I would avoid it when you can, take a little so not to deprive yourself, but not too much so you don't feel guilty, and then have healthy snacks at your desk for reinforcements. I second this, I put the UV Cherry Vodka in Diet Coke, Diet Sprite, etc...very yummy and pretty low cal... I also found a sugar free margarita mix, i think its Baja Bobs...0 calories!

Yep, I'm the wife! I found it really hard to eat back the calories...I was full! I found it very detrimental to force feed myself. I don't know where the magic # of 1200 came from, because it's different for everyone. Listen to your body, consult your Dr and a nutritionist if you feel you should.

I love hiking! I live in Utah, and it's so diverse here. We have the forest mountains in the north, and there is a lot of wildlife!!! Almost every time we go we see elk, moose and deer. Down south we have the gorgeous red rock! It's sooo fun climbing all over the sandstone, it's like natures playground!!!
