I think this is a perfect response, and almost exactly what I was going to say. A close friend will respect your choices and not push you to do something that will make you uncomfortable. Plus you will be there celebrating her big day with her -- isn't that more important than the Bachelorette party?

You know, if I could choose an age to go back to, I wouldn't want to be any younger than mid-40s. Your 40s are great - so don't sweat turning 30. Hell, you're not even ripe yet! My hardest birthday was turning 50 - and I turned 60 this year! Enjoy whatever age you are at - cause (AFAIK) we only go around once.

Wow, what a tough weekend this must be for you. But you did the right thing by reaching out here for support., and I know you will get plenty. Just keep in mind that you are a work in progress and already beautiful where it counts. Your sister may be having her day in the spotlight now, but you are gonna shine forever.

My goals this month are: Drink that water, and find more ways to move this body 5x a week. I just recently joined MFS, but I have lost 15 pounds since the first of the year!

Even better - since you are going to be somehwere outdoors & with lots of family/friends, why not make exercise part of the festivites? Challange others to races, going for…

Maybe an "exercise buddy" would help? Finding someone to pull you out of the house and make exercise more fun? I know because this is my problem - I live alone and don't have anyone close by to share this challenge with. My only exercise consists of jogging/walking the stairs at work, and at home somewhat. (I live on the…

I agree that one a day will not hurt. I read recently that the Aspartamine will cause food cravings... I don't need any help in that department!

This sounds great! I can do it in my office when I feel I need an energy boost -- much better than climbing/jogging the stairs like I have been doing.
