Wow, just wow. You look wonderful, completely different person. Congratulations on your success!

I do! I go to an actual class a few times a week, along with strength training and diet. See my thread I posted this morning for my pics. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/597790-more-than-halfway-there-44-pounds-gone-with-pics

Thank you! You're doing great too! I remember getting under 200, such a great feeling. I try to think of it in 10 pound increments. At first I couldn't wait to be below 200, then 190, then 180's, just hit 179 a few days ago. I find it's easier when you focus on smaller goals. Good luck!

That is amazing! Excellent work.

Thank you everyone! I have been blessed with a good shape, most of my weight I carry in my hips/thighs/butt. My doctor said a good weight for me might even be 150, we'll see when I get there. I don't want to be just thin, I want a rockin' body! I want a bit of muscle and to keep my curves so we'll see. I have been doing…

Mine also gets very red. I'm pretty fair skinned and some family members also get this way. BTW to the person who said to have your blood pressure checked, mine has always been 110/70 so I wouldn't worry about that much. I have noticed it getting better as I get more fit but I'm still pretty red.

Oh and some people log it as "Circuit Training General" but MFP overestimates.

I'm 29 years old, 5'7" and weight about 186. I wear a heart rate monitor and I usually burn around 200. Hope that helps.

Definitely try Tazo Zen, it's my favorite. Other kinds that also have spearmint in them are tasty as well. I sweeten it up with a half a packet of Truvia!

I don't know the difference by I have an FT4 and I think it's great. I don't need it to do anything fancy, just the calories burned. I got mine on Amazon for $70 including shipping and taxes because it's the ugly bronze color!

Yep, peeing constantly, even in the middle of the night and I never used to do that. Drink up!

Lo carb Monster, only 20 calories.

zumbacalories.com is only an estimate. I was using that before I got my Heart Rate Monitor. It told me that low impact I burned 600 calories in the hour. My heart rate monitor tells me that I burn about 540-560 for the hour and it's more like medium impact. I am 29 and weigh 188 pounds. It depends on your weight and age…

I love Zumba! I haven't done it on any game consoles but I do classes at least twice a week. The thing about it is that it is fun so you don't feel like you're working out. Every time I am dripping sweat and according to my heart rate monitor I burn about 500-600 calories for the hour. A good instructor is important if…

That's what I need, a kick in the butt. I was hoping someone would respond and say just what you did, tough but you made it through. Thank you!

I had a friend on here who was new and I had been logging for a while. I noticed on her diary that while she was eating very healthy, she would only net between 300 and 600 calories a day. Before I started really getting into this I had no idea about net calories and eating exercise calories. I sent her a polite inbox…

Thanks for the responses guys! I think I'll give it a try this week!

How about a recumbent bike?
-
I tried to watch one time. There was one guy waiting who asked me if I was going in. He was the only one waiting and the instructor won't do the class if there aren't at least 3 people. I took that as a bad sign!

I used Zumbacalories.com before I got my HRM. It told me that I burned 600 for low intensity. I'd say I'm really at medium intensity and my HRM says I burn between 500 and 550 calories for the hour. I'd go with low intensity since I'd rather underestimate calories burned than overestimate.

I used to love to drink wine, a glass or two with dinner at least once a week. Now I think "I'd rather save my calories for dessert!"

How far of a walk is it? Do you get your heart rate up/get sweaty? What are your activity levels set at? For me personally, I drive to work and sit all day so I put sedentary. If I was walking to work every day I might put lightly active. Also, when I think of logging things, I think "Is this something I did before I was…

I have converted to Butterball Thin and Crispy Turkey Bacon. Only 30 calories for two slices. It takes some getting used to but now I think it's delicious!

I joined a gym in December of 2010, my weight was 222. I started MFP at 207. I have been consistently logging for almost two months and I'm down to 195ish. I JUST bought a size smaller pants yesterday. I went from an 18 to a 16. Now granted the 18's were tight and now these 16's fit fantastically but my point is it takes…

MA here!

I'm the same way. I'm fine with chips and soda but sweets, forget about it. My daughter was sick and wanted to make cupcakes, bad idea! I could not resist them. I made my husband eat what was left on the third day.
-
I would have had something with a few more calories but a little healthier than the pie, like two tablespoons of peanut butter with a 1/2 cup of milk.

No change this week (

I just bought the Polar FT4 today from Amazon! I'm hoping it works well, reviews look good!

What do you have your settings at? 1 pound a week? That might be too much since you only have 8 to lose. Also it looks like some days maybe you're not eating enough. Also what do you do for exercise?
