Yes, my first few weeks of both kickboxing and weight lifting classes I was doing a little of over extending and locking my elbows and knees out, which I have been working to fix that and really focusing on my form more than anything. I still get caught up in the moment at times and mess up on form, so it is something I…

Yes it looks like I am just gonna have to do a week off and look into getting some more healthy fats & Vitamins in my diet. I do a 5 min cool down after my workouts.

Thank you!

See my knee only hurts during workouts if I do (deep) lunges or jump squats. It's afterwards when it is sore and feels really tight after a normal workout w/out my brace, with a brace it feels super weak so I'm searching for a middle ground. (it's the insides of my knees that are sore )

Any certain brand worth recommending? I'm going grocery shopping today so I will be sure to pick some up.

It's a vitamin package that is supposed to help with joint and muscle recovery. (Biotin is just to for my hair and nails) I will increase my intake of the Glucosamine and work in a few ice baths after my workouts. I stretch after my warm ups and again after my workout is over.

Has rest helped you? Do you plan on lifting again?

Did your knee brace ever seem to make it worse? I ask this bc there are some days when I wear my brace that it seems to feel super weak once I take it off when I get home.

I actually was just prompted by someone else to start adding more fats into my diet, so I am going to start adding more little by little and see what change it can make. Thank y'all so much!

I haven't taken a large amount of time off like a week or more in about 2 or 3 months, I usually have just a rest day or a day or two where I don't do the extra 30 mins of the elliptical afterwards. I will try to take next week off and slowly build back up to my workouts. When you take a break do you normally do any kind…

No worries it was not taken that way at all. I have made a large cut back on calories so maybe that is it. I will try to add a few more but I am still trying to lose weight so it will be gradual.

I've actually cut back on my cardio this month to see if it improves, no luck though. :(

Ok I will definitely go get some and see if they can help me. (Is there any certain kind or brand?) Thank you!

I've been to physical therapy for my knee but that is it. The therapist also said that my knee would be pain free once I strengthen my legs. Some days when I wear a strap it seems to feel like normal again but then again some days it seems to make it worse. So I try and switch it up, hoping that it will help my knees…

I was hoping to see more people who were active in this group also. I haven't started this eating plan but I was hoping to find ppl with insight on the results, short and long term. Good luck to you!

I also have tried it and it helped me lose about 55lbs within the 3 months a few years ago (Going from 201lbs to 145lbs). I worked out 4-5 times a week and ate 1500 cals per day, sometimes more with workouts. It is a great way to help you start your weight loss but you should not depend on it. Also, you should wean your…
