don't be jealous of "skinny fat" people. They are unhealthy and look terrible naked. You're not going for that, are you?

meal planning is key - keeps you from getting really hungry and eating just whatever is quick/convenient. you should also plan to eat every 2-3 hours. small meals that combine EITHER protein and fat OR protein and carbs NOT fat and carbs. make sure the fats and carbs you're consuming are "good" fats and carbs. best of luck!

strength training will help boost your metabolism. you can also incorporate high-intensity cardio intervals to burn more calories. start here: http://sportsmedicine.about.com/od/tipsandtricks/a/Intervals.htm to see what it's about. there's lots more information on the web.
