Just a little food for thought I found: Fish really is brain food, based on a study presented at the 2011 meeting of the Radiological Society of North America. Brain scans showed that people who ate baked or broiled—but not fried—fish at least once a week had better preserved gray matter in key areas of the brain. The…

Althought my weight has stayed pretty much the same for awhile, I have noticed in my pictures that my arms look a whole lot smaller! Looking at my NYE pictures from last year and this year, its pretty noticable I've toned up (Darn weight stays pretty much the same!)

I count it as water, just like I count water with any sort of zero (or close to zero) calorie flavor packet.

I have the morningstar veggie bacon in my freezer right now. It’s not really equivalent to bacon. It's more like bacon-ish. I’ve noticed that using fake bacon in recipes is better than just having eggs with a side of it. I usually use the morningstar when I'm making an omelet or something else that has a lot of other…

It's not under the pre-set workouts. When I do it, I just use "Circut Training".

I'm Katie, I'm 23 years old live in Wilmington, DE and work as a financial analyst I've never really been SUPER overweight, but there has always been that little bit left that just wont ever go away. My perfect weight would be about 15lbs less than where I'm at right now.

LOL... awesome...

I've never joined one of these groups before, even though I always see them around. I have a wedding I'm going to be in in the Spring so this is a YES for me!

Since it is less sweet than regular yogurt, I don’t really ever eat it plain. I actually use it as a substitute for anything needing sour cream... Baked potatoes, dressings, dips, on top of eggs in the mornings…. mmmm.....

Ooo I marinate almost any kind of meat in a low fat stir fry sauce. I'm assuming the stats are way better than mayo, plus you get loads more flavor! I'd just go to the aisle in the supermarket with asian/mexican food and go crazy. I find the best flavors in that aisle!

Congrats! that awesome! Keep it up! :drinker:

Drink loads of water in the next couple days! I alreays find that when I'm trying to reach a mark, guzzling water in the few days before weigh in really helps! GOOD LUCK! I know you can make it!:drinker:

Amazing! Congrats both of you for not only finding an amazing partner to spend the rest of your life with, but for completely supporting each other non stop! :smooched: I wish you the best of luck in both your journeys!!

So I've been on MFP now for about 4 moths. I (having grown up in Seattle) am a hard core coffee drinker. I drank water, but maybe only 8 or 16 ounces throughout the day. I never thought that water had anything to do with weight loss either. I mean, coffee is calorieless (when drank black)! I haven't lost that much weight…

I have a couple that are really good and that I love: -Do not reward yourself with food. You are not a dog. -Sweat is the cologne of accomplishment. -The difference between try and triumph... is a little umph. -People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.…

**Like** For me, I try and eat really well all week (including weekends) that way my cheat is worth it. Some people cheat with a cookie or cheese... I always cheat with wine and vodka tonics :)

Work on building muscle instead of fat. That will give your body a fuller look without the curviness I'm guessing you don’t want. I would lower my cardio workouts and increase my strength training workouts. Look into protein shakes, adding peanut butter to meals, and snacking on mixed nuts. These are all PERFECT ways to…
