I think you need to take your focus off the number on the scale. If you are losing inches, it means the gym and your nutrition is working, and it is highly likely you are gaining muscle (which weighs more than fat) and are therefore not seeing any difference on the scale. To ease your mind it might be a good idea to get a…

I was a twenty year smoker and had genuinely tried to quit at least 15 times. I had even started joking with my friends that I had given up giving up! Then I found this website www.whyquit.com It helped me understand my addiction, admit that I was a drug addict, and gave me the tools and information I needed to beat my…

I read the first few posts after your very informative article, which was well written and no doubt took a considerable amount of your time to write. All with the intent of sharing what works for you and trying to help others. I cant believe how many negative posts there are. But for me I really appreciate the time and…

At this early stage any amount of time spent working out is calories burnt. However as you progress 30 mins is really the minimum to see any fitness (cardio) improvement. Disclaimer: This is based on reading & personal experience & I am definately not a personal trainer or qualified to give fitness advice.

I would have thought all of the loose skin alot of the contestants end up with at the end of their "Journey" should be reason enough not to lose the weight that fast. Don't forget, the end result of years of junk food abuse, is not just a fat body!! Think of all the damage we have done to our internal organs as well. Do it…

Are you consuming enough calories? This certainly affects my energy levels. I upped my calory intake this week as I was feeling drained last week after workouts, where previously I was getting that feeling of "wellness" after workouts. Also make sure you drink Lots of water.
