Don't crucify me. I HATE Bacon. The taste, the smell, everything.. Makes me gag!

Thank you, everyone!

THANKS! I'm obviously computer illiterate, haha!!

So does that mean the picture did work?! I'm using our new Mac computer and I do NOT know how to use this thing! I started out just walking, then incorporating 30 minute circuit sessions with some additional cardio. Nothing too crazy. I think consistency is the most important thing! And actually getting off the couch.. I…

Also.. looks like my picture isn't posting. I probably did something wrong... whoops.

You can add me! I just turned 24 last week and I'm down 37 pounds so far. I started on August 9th of last year at 164 lbs and I'm hovering around 127 lbs now. I'm always up for some supportive new friends! MrsLaurenAsh

GetHealthy.com says around 10-11 Calories per pound is adequate for maintanace. It's worked for me when I've tried it. Im at 138, so I eat around 1380 to maintain. Of course, I'm sure that can vary for different individuals.

Welcome! I started on August 9th and I've lost 22 lbs so far.

My daily calorie intake is 1270. I thought it was going to be hard, but I've found ways to eat the same amount of meals and the same number of times a day. But, I try and eat healthier, low calorie foods. Sometimes, I even eat more than I normally would because what I choose to eat is so much better for me.

Welcome! Feel free to add me if you need some accountability partners! :) MrsLaurenAsh

Thank you! And I think you're exactly right. Relying too much on the tracker gives me false hope ;)

I also use a walking/running GPS app on my iPhone! I usually get a different number on there, too. I guess it's safe to stick with the lowest number.

Thanks for all the input! I hope I'm doing right in not eating all the "exercise calories" back considering I haven't used any type of heart monitor and don't know how many calories I've actually burned. I'm just going off common sense here. Definitely not starving myself, but I don't need false comfort in an excess of…

That is a good suggestion. I think the intensity of the work out is very important. Work out equipment and MFP seem to give generalized estimates. So if MFP overestimates my calories burned I don't want to over eat and over compensate.

Truvia is great! And it's natural and calorie free. I drink either skim milk or light vanilla soy milk and a packet of truvia with my coffee or tea. It's helped keep my sugar intake down and I don't get the "shakes" like I used to.

I'm 5'4, Currently 158 (5 lbs down since 8/9) and my overall goal is 135. I hope I'm down to 153 by September 30!

I just added you! And I have an off topic question. Does anyone have any trouble getting to their calorie goal? Don't crucify me! I LOVE food. That's what got me to the weight I am. I pack my lunches and eat every 2-3 hours to keep my cravings in check. But it seems that after I enter in my dinner, I've been consistantly…

I didn't have a short term goal, but I think that's a great idea! Now, what do I want... ;)
