i was in a similar situation, my weight just kept going up and up and i was working out a lot! then joined mfp and came to see i was actually eating more than i realized and snacking too much and actually getting more calories than i realized. mfp is very logical. i have lost 4 pounds in 5 weeks and it's going well.

i made quinoa last night with mushrooms and scallions. Super high protein grain. it was amazing! :)

I am totally a snackaholic. I can see now that I need to only have good snacks available....maybe even portion them out.....not have the whole bag at my fingertips. turkey jerky sounds good! :)

Welcome. Sorry to hear about the fibromyalgia. I hear some of the meds for that can pack a lot of weight on a person. It happened to one of my friends. But i am sure this site can help :)

I've actually heard good things about apple cider vinegar too and may try that. I can tell I will also need to simply NOT have snack foods in my house because I cannot say "no" when I'm tired and starving after working out. :::sigh::::

Ya I need to make a plan for that because I come home and all I want to do is snack and trust me, celery sticks is NOT what I crave at that point. Should I jsut throw out all my junk food.....oh god....i dont know if I can do that!!! I wish I could keep it in the house and just not indulge in it too much. Ugh.
