I use the polar FT4 and I love it. It was relatively cheap and can be used for swimming too. I believe as well that if you're doing resistance/strength training, although you wont burn as many cals during your workout, your body continues to burn more to repair the muscles. I've been on a plateu for about three weeks. I upped by calories by 200 a day but eating metabloism boosting foods like; berries, strawberries and green veg. It's worked well for me this last week! Good luck.

I only eat back my excercise calories if I am Hungry. MFP has my goal at 1.7lbs a week but on a good week I can loose 2-2.8lbs.

Well I had my first weigh in since starting the challenge. Starting weight 185.7 Current :183.5 Very disappointed with that weight loss as it's over three weeks. Kinda disheartened with Zumba because of it, I ate very well and exercised my *kitten* off! Back on the treadmil at the gym for me :-(

Yeah, I'm finding I know the cardio party off by heart. Although this has been good thing as it means I am working harder rather than concentrating on what I am meant to be doing. I think I will get bored of it after a few more weeks though. I think the exhilarate package may be on my Christmas list :-)

I create my own excercise and use www.zumbacalories.com to calculate how many calories I've burnt. It says I burn a hell of a lot and I think it may overestimate a tad but it's still a fair guide.

Hey girls. 50 mins of Zumba done yesterday 65 mins done today. Week one...COMPLETED I won't be weighing in until a week on Wednesday but good luck those who are weighing in tomorrow.

Me checking in. Today I did 65 mins of Zumba (sculpt and tone and flat abs) and burned 723 calories (www.zumbacalories.com) Phew!
