I don't know what your current weight is, but I'm about 100 pounds away from my goal weight and I do the 30DS 5 days a week. I have never advanced past level 1 and I still follow the easy chic, but I still lose inches each time I do it. Go for it!

Does he have a kidnapping kit sitting out on his desk? You know, duct tape, rope, chloroform. The basics. I'd be polite/civil since you have to work with the guy but I'd totally carry a whistle and some mace in my purse. Or pocket, just in case he follows you to the bathroom one day.

I've been wearing my HRM all day today just for curiosity's sake. I wondered how much I burn and how close it is to what MFP estimates. I can honestly say that I burn far more than I ever thought I would. Definitely follow your HRM reading as opposed to your MFP estimates.

Today I've learned that I burn far more calories in an average day than I ever would have thought possible, and that MFP grossly underestimates how much I burn as well. I'm hoping that this will help me to avoid a plateau in the future.

My opinion is to go with what your HRM says since it's tailored to your specific heart rate. I've learned that MFP has grossly underestimated the amount of calories that I burn doing certain things, while other activities seem to be estimated quite high. I did this for 30 days and only lost 4 pounds. But I lost somewhere between 9 and 11 inches off of my waist. Hang in there. It's worth it in the end.
