  • I have pulled my belt in another notch (cannot wear my jeans without the belt anymore). Also, I did a volunteer gig yesterday. They had t-shirts for us to wear. I grabbed a large instead of my standard xl and the large fit just fine.
  • Robin eggs, yummy! Those and Cadbury eggs are, by far, my favorite! I am not planning on buying any candy that I actually like for my son's basket! Not sure what I will get for him, but robins eggs and Cadbury's will not be in the mix! For my sweet tooth, I buy Atkins candy, specifically the peanut butter cups. When I get…
  • 1. I want chocolate covered raisins now. :) 2. You are on here, so that is a start. I suggest looking at the success stories. I love to go to those for inspiration. 3. If it were easy, everyone would be fit and at a perfect weight. Stop being so hard on yourself. You will get there.
  • Add me. I have mine open and would like to grow my friends list. It helps seeing how everyone else's day went.
  • I don't eat clean, but I would love to add more friends to help with motivation! I am 44 and trying to lose 50 lbs. I am a mom of 1 crazy 9 year old and I want to set a better example for him.
  • 44 and needing to take off 50 pounds.
  • Smoked for 25 years, quit with the patch. Key was that I was really ready. Good luck!
  • I quit a year and a half ago after smoking for over 25 years. I quit by using patches. I did it for my son. I think by doing it for him, I would feel too guilty to start up again. I previously quit during my pregnancy, but started up as soon as I was done breast feeding - don't even know why I started up again. Good luck…
  • Hopefully it gets easier for you. I quit smoking in July (after about 25 yrs) and now when my smoker co-workers come in from their break, they just absolutely stink (to me). I actually don't miss it at all anymore. I only quit because my son (6 at the time) kept asking me to quit. So I did.
  • The polar FT40 is what I have and love. I tried another brand but went back to this one again (broke the watch portion of my first one). You won't even notice the chest strap if you think it will be uncomfortable.
  • Lima beans, spinach and drinking dill pickle juice from the jar...
  • Add them in to jello.
  • 11:39 am - 759 (haven't actually eaten my lunch - just logged it)
  • You can jog as a smoker. I wouldn't recommend doing both at the same time ;-) Once you are able to make healthier eating and exercising a habit, then try to quit by cutting back gradually then quit out-right. I am just about to that point myself. I have incorporated a good weight-lifting program, gettin ready to start the…
  • 600-640 for 1 hr class
  • I am currently in WW. I much prefer MFP (free and easier). The only thing I get from the meetings is having someone else tracking my weight for me - so not worth the cost. I have the application on my phone for both programs, but I never use the WW one. MFP is a much more user friendly program. For me, the points seem to…
  • I do the exact same thing! Won't drink water from my pretty pink bottle I bought especially to keep on my desk, but in my 32oz cup with a straw - it is refilled twice at work and once more for the ride home. Funny, I thought it was just me!

  • Your meals should be the same - just not "normal" time of eating them. Say that Breakfast is at 7pm on Wednesday, Lunch is at 1am on Thursday and dinner is at 7am on Thursday, then when you get up and eat your breakfast again a 7pm on Thursday, that will close out your meals for Thursday (except for snacks). Hope that…
  • Good for you! That will help a lot!
  • There were many recipes for a cream can dinner (some called for a pound of butter - all involved polish sausage). The one below had nutritional info (not so good): Ingredients 14 large ears sweet corn in husks 5 pounds medium red or white potatoes 1-1/2 pounds carrots, halved 2 large onions, quartered 2 medium heads…
  • I love this! Thank you for sharing!
  • I really enjoy the Biggest Loser Workout DVD's. I haven't found one yet that I don't like. Good luck to you! CJ
  • I had the same issue. I was eating my 1200 cals (and the extras I earned from working out) and hit an early plateau. I just up'd my calories to 1500 on Monday and finally lost a pound this week. I do drink the water (sometimes only 6 cups but on hard workout days, I definitely drink all and then some). I don't know if that…
  • I have had success with this as well. It is amazing how much I am capable of eating if I don't think about it! I use my iPhone app as well, so I account for absolutely everything I eat! I have learned that I can still eat the yummies I love, I just need to eat the portion size and be happy with that. (white chedder cheetos…
