Count me in as well. I had an ankle injury in January and between that and quarantine I have put on some extra pounds. I was just planning this morning to starting cycling in the morning to get my days off to a more active start .....and way better on my psyche than reading all the news on-line. About 30-35 pounds to lose!

It's still there -- at least I can see in on my food page.

The above posts all contain some good information. I took a quick look at your food diary and most of your sodium is from restaurant food (tacos, breakfast burritos, etc)...... the gatorade type drink only had about 150mg of sodium. I pay attention to sodium as I have high BP. I have my sodium intake set to 1500 mg per…

Hummus and breton mini-toast crackers work for me for an afternoon snack.... I usually portion a tablespoon of the hummus and 4 of the crackers. Gives me a bit of protein and carb ....and isn't loaded with sugar.

Mine is the starfrit one (from CDN Tire) .... works great.... easy to put a bowl on it and set it to zero - and to change the measurements from gm to oz.... love it!

For eating at a restaurant where the info isn't available I would pull up the food item - and glance at a couple of similar items .... make sure to look at the nutrition info to see if they logged something other than just the calories as much of the data isn't accurate. When you eat at a restaurant you will find that the…

I have just synced my fitbit to my mfp profile a few days ago. The info seems to go from mfp to fitbit just fine but the fitbit info (calories burned or steps) doesn't translate over to MFP. I just have a basic MFP account - is it that you need the premium account to do this? Thanks so much for any help....

Fantastic. You look super healthy!

Hi FNM ... I took a quick look at your diary and I would suggest switching out the tracking of Potassium to show Sugar instead .... Unless there is a dietary need to track your potassium levels. It will give you a better idea of how much sugar you are taking in. Like others have said - you don't have to give up sugar - but…

Thanks for sharing your story and congratulations on the introspective perspective. You sound truly appreciative of your life and your friends. You are right in that Squamish is a fantastic place to live for the outdoor life. I grew up on the North Shore and spent many weekends up in Squamish (climbing mainly) and then…

I have access to a small kitchen at work ... so I will throw a bunch of salad stuff into my bag each day (lettuce, kale, cucumber, tomato, broccoli, cabbage - whatever is in there) ... with either hard boiled egg(s) - an avocado or some sort of left over protein .... I keep some stuff at work in the fridge - salad dressing…

What an awesome achievement. You look amazing. You are your own inspiration!

A very insightful and introspective view of your personal journey. I am so happy to hear that the "food" and "move" were the drivers .... and real food as opposed to a million different prepackaged options... Kudos to you to be in a good place to be able to share your story! Very inspiring;)

Let me preface this with the fact that I am two months into my journey to get healthy again. My moment of deep discouragement was when I had two days on a shopping trip and basically came out hating myself and how I looked. I then started looking into how to move more each day ... and started logging my food. I became…

Portion size was under control .... but now the weekend is here - need to stay focused:)

Thanks for all the insightful comments.... I learned a lot from reading this. Last week I noticed for the first time that there is a difference in the tracking of calories burned based on your activity level (sedentary, lightly active, active, athlete etc) .... I had thought that walking for 30 min at a moderate 3.5 pace…
