Sheri--How many people will you need to start?

It's losing its allure for me a little bit. Probably because I've had bad luck with some of the recipes I've tried. Just because someone has a nice camera and takes pretty pictures of the food they make, doesn't mean they know how to write a recipe.

If you're consistently going down, your doctor will be happy with your progress. Don't get too caught up in the exact number. Progress is the key.

Taking the kids to walk the nature trail this afternoon.

Me! Me! Me! I loved doing the last elimination challenge and it helped me enormously.

My daughter never stops talking and my son never stops moving. It's a toss-up.

Well, my son just cleared all the bookmarks off my computer, so he's not the current favorite.

A coffee house with attached play place. Somewhere moms can have a cup of coffee and chat while their kids play that's a little more sophisticated than Chik-fil-a. I know larger cities have these and I would love to have one here. But I don't think we have the population to support something like this.

Yup. Piggy Polish is a good alternative to regular polishes. It's non-toxic and it's what I use for my daughter. We went away overnight once and came home to find the babysitter had painted my three=year-olds' finger and toe nails. I truly dislike nail polish on little girls, but I also know that it's not a big enough deal…

That's awesome! Enjoy your new clothes!
-
I hope so. That would be awesome! Thanks, everyone. :-) It was so exciting to try on a bra in my size and have it standing up on its own, away from my body! lol I'm having fun today.

I did well with my miles (16.75 for the week) but didn't lose any weight. I didn't gain either, though, which is good. I feel like I need to do something different but not sure what.

Global movement? I took my daughter to a princess birthday party, then the whole family went to the playground, flew a kite, and went out to dinner. And this evening I worked out. Now I'm just trying to get the strength to make it up the stairs.
-
Just sent you a request!

Fly a kite in the park?

Yup, I was thinking the same thing.

A c-section scar and a scar on my hand from having a ganglion cyst removed.

I think I'm going to buy all candy I dislike. lol We just moved to the hottest trick or treating street in the whole city (seriously, people come from all over to trick or treat here.), so we will need a lot of candy. I was going to start stocking up tonight, but decided I couldn't have it in my house yet. My husband and I…

I actually don't think "too busy" is a crappy excuse. Making good food and activity choices takes planning, time, and energy. Sometimes it's hard to find the focus. Can you take a step back and try to concentrate on one or two small things for a few days and see how that goes? For example, commit to eating a healthy…

Did that picture accompany a headline saying: "Hapless Human Mauled to Death by Costumed Kitties."?

To resist the urge to sell my children to the circus.

I think curvy means generous breasts and hips and a small waist. So, a woman could be really tiny except in those areas or she could have some extra padding all over, but still with a defined waist.
-
I don't know how to post pictures, but curvy = Kate Winslet in my mind. A lovely, womanly shape.

Eating while standing up burns calories, so the calories in the food don't count. I am a gifted rationalizer. :-)
-
Sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing this!
-
I think this is what I have! Glad I opened this.

Me, too. I do enjoy eating with my hands though. It's my dirty little secret.

Hi! I'm a SAHM of a three year old girl and a nineteen month old son. Please add me if you like. I love to have mom friends.
-
These are both so humiliating to me that I can't believe I'm writing them. But it's a very good reminder. 1. We were on the beach this summer and my three-year-old daughter wandered too far away down the beach. My sister in law had to run to get her. I was in no shape to catch her myself. 2. We have to pay more $$$$ for…
