I want to make it clear that I didn't post on here to bicker, nor do I have a problem with your path. I think everyone is different and we all need to find what works for us. MY problem wasn't your path, but that it seemed like you were saying that those of us who do not follow your path are losers. Just because our way…

It says serves six, 141 calories per serving...how much is a serving?

I think the ideas are great and there are some really great tips, but the TONE is terrible. I read it twice because I thought maybe I was taking it wrong but what I am getting from this is "If you aren't doing this, this way, than you basically suck". I don't think your approach to weight loss and being healthy is wrong,…

Carrots are on the excluded list for carbs... People do fail at diets but restricting all carbs, losing weight, then adding carbs back into your diet and gaining weight back from it, doesn't make any sense to me.
-
So...I am all about eating healthier and making sure I am getting what I need... but I don't want to give up sweets =( I understand not eating everyday and what not, but I love dessert and there are times I don't want to sacrifice. I need a kick in the butt! It's hard to not do something when you don't have a will to do it.

Awww. My eyes started to sting with tears. That is SO awesome.

Can you use EVOO for stir fry?
-
Isn't frying food not good? Health wise that is.

If it is not low carb why does the diet require that you cut all carbs out? She suggest I do it to see if I have some sort of sensitivity to carbs. She told me some people are find with moderate amounts of carbs but I might gain a lot of weight with a normal amount of carbs where others wouldnt.

That's what I mean. It doesn't make any sense to me. The idea is LONG TERM weight loss =D

My docter suggested that I try the first phase of the south beach diet. I have never really been into diets like south beach etc. I was reading up on it, and it doesn't make sense to me really. Then again I am no expert. Don't we need carbs? Also, you start to incorporate carbs back into your diet after 2 weeks so wouldn't…

Yeah. Straight out of the tub =D I will have to try that!

Because I don't want to waste food. I didn't know if I would like it or not, I bought it, tasted it didn't really like it but I don't want to just throw it away.

Hmmm. The chicken idea sounds good. He is so weird. He doesn't like spicy or mexican food, vegetables...he has gotten better at it, but I do want to "trick" his mouth because I think most of his dislikes are in his head =D. How could I add it into a chicken recipe? Would putting it in a spagetti sauce work?
-
You are all so awesome =D I don't know what I would do without you!
-
I bought some, and don't like it =( Any ideas on how I can incorporate it into a recipes and not really "taste" it?
-
Okay, so I bought firm tofu last night for the first time. I haven't had tofu, nor have a made anything with tofu in it before and my husband is a picky as heck eater. Does anyone have some recipes that they love, with tofu, or know ways of making tofu? I don't want to mess this up! ...and how good for you is it....

Your breakfast is supposed to contain the most calories of all your meals.
-
You do need weights but you can use canned soup as well.

Okay, I made a thread for today's check in! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/41405-30-day-shred-02-17-09

Okay! So let's check in. I gained a couple pounds over the last few weeks =( I am 145 right now and I am going to set a goal of two pounds for next week. We must all remember that if we are gaining muscle the number on the scales may remain the same or decrease slowly, so take your measurements as well for a more accurate…

What in the world? You lost me.

That sounds like a great idea! I am so happy for all of you. We will keep each other motivated. I will have to do my video tomorrow since I am out of town today and didn't bring it with me. Tsk Tsk. I am real excited though. I know you girls will keep me going. For those of us who will be on level 1 for a while, that's…

I haven't had one. Someone I know has though, and it was painful. Honestly, she didn't need it in the first place. She was a size zero and had a little pooch. They take the skin cut some off and then stitch the two ends together. They have to make you a "new" belly button. It won't look the same as it did before.…

So did anyone try it this weekend?
-
I don't think you HAVE to do it everyday. If you can then do, but make sure you pace yourself. Personally I wouldn't do level 1 and 2 when first starting out. I am staying at level 1 for now until I can do it without dying =D I am still a little sore but Saturday was terrible. I couldn't stand up on my own. I am more out…

I got my copy off of amazon as well. I think the prices are pretty much the same.
-
Oh man, I hate pushups. I can't even do two. I guess this would be a great thing to try. Its gonna hurt!
-
Awesome! I do have to tell you, I did it for the first time on Friday and I was in PAIN all weekend. I am STILL sore. I won't be able to do it today, I am out of town so I am going to move the check in for tomorrow. That is where I will post my stats and goals and all that lovely stuff.

Did you find level 1 challenging? I would stay with level one until it becomes easier for you. I burned 235 calories but I was also dying. It was a hard workout and I will be staying with level one for at least a week. So what we will do is start checking in every Monday. Don't feel pressured to move on to other levels.…
